Very pretty
I went to another competitor and they charged $100 more! For the same thing too! And I am in love with this product! Nothing is wrong and all is simple and working well! Could have a better GPS sharing capacity but other than that it really is a great item to have!
HONESTDEALS was selling this watch as if it was new, but clearly, it wasn't. It didn't arrive in the sealed, original box but in a plastic bag without any documentation inside. After buying it, I read some reviews of this seller and realized that they try to trick the customers selling supposedly new articles from Garmin and other brands for an attractive price that in fact are refurbished o renewed. It is also surprising that WALMART does not provide accurate information about these products/seller on their website. I also tried to contact the seller and made a complaint through WALMART, but they never responded. I'LL NEVER TRUST THIS SELLER AGAIN!
The watch i got is used watch! It didnt come with garmin box! It was just in regular box with the inclusion! This is really disappointing!
This is not a new watch! It did not come in a Garmin box, and no documentation was included.
I bought the Venu to replace my VivoActive (which is difficult to charge now). This was a step backwards, BUT I only want a tool to track distance and calculate my pace on runs. I never used the Garmin App prior to today, 8 May 2022. I downloaded it in the hope it would be easier to use the watch. It made 0% difference, and only put me in line for more marketing even though I opted out of it all. Hopefully I can figure out how to adjust the settings so it suits the way I use it.
Get ready to see a lot of this message: "WAIT FOR GPS." I bought this watch for 2 reasons. To track my runs and listen to music without carrying my phone. Sometimes the watch only takes a few seconds to connect to GPS. Sometimes it will not connect at all. Most of the time it takes 5-10 minutes. A GPS watch this expensive should not have issues connecting to GPS. It is very frustrating and totally ruins my running mood. If I could I would return the watch and get something that has no issues connecting to GPS. Another issue I have is when I get tired on my runs and put my hands on my hips the music to my bluetooth headphones gets all fuzzy. It only happens when I put my hands on my hips. I have no idea what is going on with that. The last thing I do not like about this watch is that when you plug the watch in to the charger it automatically causes the watch to power on. So now you have to remember to power the watch off when you are done charging or else the battery will drain. I have no idea why anyone would think this was a good idea.
This needs to have better labeling. I bought this believing this was a new Garmin Venu watch. This did not include the original packaging but was just a brown box with a garmin label on it. I did not want a refurbished or used watch. So please do a better job of ensuring that its either new or used or refurbished. This is really misleading and underhanded. Additionally it said it would be here in On February 2nd and i got it on Feb 6th. While this isn't the end of the world, I wish you would be clear with receive dates.
Bought this because it has GPS and does music without needing to be connected to your phone. Takes at least 3 tries to pair any headphones. I tried 3 different sets, same result. OK, fine, you only have to pair it once so who cares, right? Wrong. Paired headphones do not reconnect (Connection Failed). No matter how many times I retry, the only way to get it connected again is to un-pair and re-pair. OK, fine. I can do that at home, and then they're set when I get outside to run, right? Wrong. When you start a run the GPS turns on, it disconnects the bluetooth, so you have to do it all again. Tried multiple reboots and software updates. Verdict: I would have been better off burning the $200. My next running watch will not be a Garmin.
Not a review of the product, but of the seller. This is a used product, and is not advertised as such. Buyer beware.
