Garmin Vivofit Jr. Activity Tracker

My 8yo son asked for it and he is so happy with it. He sets up chores and monitors his activity. Plus he keeps time and has his own schedule by it. Its been great for his independence. I was pleasantly surprised.

I have a skinny 12 year old boy and this actually fit him. He didn't want a themed one. So this was our only option. But we had gotten another band just in case . I was worried it would be too young for him. He really wanted one to see how much he runs in soccer. He loves the chores he can check off and earn video game time. So far so good!

I love it & so does my son. You can track the activity levels, assign chores, and give them "coins" for doing chores.

I LOVE this activity tracker! It tracks steps, active minutes , and sleep. And the chores/rewards aspect is a HUGE bonus! It allows you to completely set parameters of what chores on what days and how many coins each chore is worth, then create rewards and how many coins those are worth. My 9 year old son actually does daily tasks like brushing teeth, making bed, homework, and household chores with excitement to earn more coins! But the main reason I wanted this product is to track sleep. It shows deep/light/awake sleep cycles, but I'm not sure how accurate it is. I am consulting with this doctor soon to see his thoughts. But overall WELL worth the money and the best product in its class! ****sode note: if you get this for a child over 7 or 8, go ahead and order the larger adjustable wrist bands for it. The stock band was too small for my son. I found a 3 pack of larger bands on amazon for $15

I bought it mostly because I thought it would alert my child of his chores. It does not, and there is an option for one alarm only. I ended up returning it.

The band is way to small. Started a chat with support center. They do have XL bands but you have to set up the fit bit then go to an APP. Why would i set it up if i'm not sure they will send a larger band free of charge. Dont plan on purchasing a band for $20 when fit bit cost $80. Granddaughter was disappointed.

Broken - it doesn't work. We spent an hour trying to program it but it arrived not working.

Where to start.. i can't say anything good about this watch. My daughter is 10 but small for her age. Loves to wear watches bracelets.. she put this on one time and i could tell she didn't like it. The screen is very very small. Not easy to navigate the screen you can barely see what's on it anyway. Didn't fit her properly too small. Might fit a 5 year old. Save your money and buy something that's worth it. You know what? I can say 1 good thing, walmart let me get a full refund!
