Exactly what I was looking for!

Rockyb November 21, 2018

I was looking for a watch that would track my steps, calories, activity, and sleep, but I also wanted something classy and elegant. The vivomove HR is exactly that! It is very clean and classy, does everything I wanted, and is even waterproof! Worth every dollar.

Love this watch

ethelhodg June 8, 2019

I'm still trying to figure everything out, but I love the looks of it, and what I've figured out so far. I do wish the minimal manual that came with it, had more details about the features and how to use them, but I'm sure, with enough research, I'll figure it out.

The Satellite Imagery is Amazing

C and A February 8, 2026

The Tread 2 Overland solved a problem for us that seemed to have no other solution. The cost made us a bit reluctant to get it, but it has been well worth it. We highly recommend it for overlanding and explorations of remote wilderness areas. We would have given this device 5 stars except for one issue which is described in the following write-up. We frequently take 4x4 tracks into remote areas of the Arizona Strip. We carry 3 different GPS units plus detailed paper topo maps and a compass. While our 3 GPS units have always agreed on the coordinates, their mapping software placed us at different locations. Even the paper map gave us a location that our eyeballs told us was incorrect. We had to fall back on triangulation off of mountains to find our true location on the paper map. The satellite imagery download allows us to see exactly where we are - no more second guessing the GPS units or the paper map. The satellite view also allows us to "see" what is over the next ridge, and in our first outing using it, we found 2 tracks that we had never seen before. There are some problems with the "Adventure Roads and Trails overlay". In two instances, it indicated 4x4 tracks that were in fact, hiking trails for non motorized vehicles. In another instance, it showed a 4x4 track that clearly did not exist. The satellite imagery does take a while to download, but this feature alone is worth the price. So...... While the Tread 2 Overland does what we wanted, the errors in the "Adventure Roads and Trails overlay" are enough of a problem to deduct 1 star. Using the downloaded satellite imagery makes remote backcountry navigation unbelievably simple and nearly fool proof. Even with this ease of navigation, if you are venturing out into the wilderness, ALWAYS take along the paper maps and compass just in case the Tread fails.

Solid GPS, paired easy with my Inreach

Duran June 27, 2026

The device is awesome, the fact that I can't work my routes in BaseCamp and upload them to the device is a huge miss for Garmin. Why force me to use a competitor product to create my routes on the PC to upload them to your device? Anyway, easy to use, the mount is solid and it is really visible in daylight, which is a plus.

Awesome unit. Controls need some refinement

Lucas Murph March 9, 2026

I've gotten to use this for about 1000 miles snowmobiling. It does mostly everything I want and more. It does however take some getting used to a the controls are not exactly straight forward to figure out. The manual leaves quite a lot left to the imagination. I would say I know more about using a gps than most. I have had the trail tech gps for about 5 years and have been using marine navigation gps units for 20 years.

Disappointed

RichieRich December 27, 2019

First point, I was unable to view in the flesh, so to speak, could only take a card to the check out. I would not have bought it if I had been able to try it on. Second point, the hands are not the same colour, ie hour hand is silver and minute hand is yellow. the hour hand gets lost in most light conditions, both yellow would be much easier to see, this point is my major concern.

Light weight

SMaiD June 25, 2019

So far like the watch just wishes the black with slate hardware watch hand is not yellow, white or silver would been better. Wishes smaller display screen for small wrist like myself. Wishes there black with silver hardware or vs that offer small/medium for same price. Touchscreen is sticking sometimes.

After 6 hours of attempts, never synced with pixil

productreviewer November 17, 2018

This is a lovely watch. I watched you tubes, I read the quick guide I downloaded the manual and gave this a massive attempt to connect to my Pixel phone. I restarted, reset, deleted the app and started over, cleared the cache, repeat the process until I realized I know hated the watch. The trouble shooting guide is poor. Help forums were not helpful. I'm going back to a previous smart watch with excellent customer support

Hate it...the glare is terrible

ssimon0927 November 29, 2018

I will be returning the watch this weekend. I really liked the look of it, but the glare is terrible. I wanted something a little more feminine than the watch my husband has, and the vivomove offered that in the rose gold trimmed watch. I couldn't get past the glare to even test out anything.
