Love my new Garmin Vivosmart HR. Absolutely every feature I could ever need or want. User interface is great and the App connects with myfitnesspal, which I use all of the time. The band is slim enough as to be somewhat understated, but is also rugged and waterproof to 50 meters. Ready for a beating.
I am in the pool a lot so I wanted something that would hold up well in the water. It has been great to track my cardio workouts in the pool and see how many calories I have burned! I also really like the sleep monitor feature and the move reminders.
Just what I was looking for. The Garmin lets me see how much sleep I get, how much I have walked, and my heart rate. I like that I can see my range of heart rate for the last four hours.
The smart activity tracker serves as a great motivator! Enter your goals and see how you do. When close to goal, I've found I'll get up and do what's needed to reach it. It's also a watch and sends an alert for phone calls, texts, eMails, etc.
I've been wearing this for 3 months and am pretty pleased with it. The display lights up at night so I can read it, the band is comfortable and easy to put on, pretty easy to operate, get sleep patterns, time, steps taken, heart rate, can set alarms and it collects data on how much exercise you've done. When close to my iphone (like in the next room close) it will alert me about texts and calls, weather, music. The charger does not come with a wall plug in so I assume I'm supposed to use my computer to charge it (1x/wk) and it uploads data at the same time. My biggest gripe is that, as you can see in the photo, the information is seen up/down and, on my wrist, there's no way for me to read texts w/o taking the watch off bc the type is so small which is a pain! That holds true for any message that uses what looks to be 4pt type. My other small complaint, that might not bother others, is that there is a green light on the bottom (sensor?) that lights up when I move in bed and it's pretty bright (could take it off if you are not interested in sleep patterns). Because I've never owned another device like this, I've nothing to compare it to so take that into consideration. For the amount of info I can access, I'm pretty satisfied with it.
The Garmin is good the app has its quirks but other than the app I found the tracker to be very useful and accurate. It keeps track of your run times
I have had my Garmin tracker for several months now and I am very pleased with it and its functionality! I had two Fitbits that went capoot...much to my chagrin, which were not inexpensive. So, I decided to completely make a break from Fitbit and I am so glad that I did that!!!! Not only is it easy to wear 24/7, but it does help me to stay on track w/the MOVE reminders when you are sitting/haven't moved in an extended period of time. You do have to connect this watch to you computer to charge and to sync the data to your Garmin account, but once you get used to doing that, there is no problem. I now find myself "lost" when I don't wear it 24/7...well worth the money!
I bought this 2 weeks ago. I love it except I am having problems with a couple of features. The main one being it tells me I have a txt message but won't let me read it. I can read me email and know who's calling. I love the heart rate feature and is pretty accurate. It's a little think as far as hight in the rist but you can get used to that. Wish an instruction book actually came with it instead of having to look things up on line.
I got the watch for my wife who recently had hip replacement. She is using it to monitor her activities. All in all she likes it but every once in a while it does not seem to record her steps when she walks.
I relieved the unit one day. Charged it up and wore it for a few hours. It worked well and connected to my phone. I wore it while exercising the next day and when I tried to check the data on my phone, found it has lost sync and I couldn't get it to resync.
