It is definitely not a same thing as a hair product for heat protectant that I used to use. This serum is a leave in serum, which means, to apply the serum to dry or damp hair, and no not rinse it afterwards. I recently tried Garnier Fructis Hair filler + Ceramide Color Repair Serum for the first time. I have a straight long red colored hair. I used a permanent hair colorant to color my hair. Over the time, as my new hair growth, my colored hair became faded and dull. It slowly lost it shines. Another thing that I noticed is my hair is easy to get breakage. I needed my colored hair to regain its strength and shines. After using the Garnier Hair filler + Ceramide color repair serum for a few times on my clean hair. That now my hair is more smooth and the hair breakage is a lot less likely to be happened. Even though I have not using the Garnier Frutics Hair Filler + Ceramide Color Repair serum for a very long time, is not surprising that my hair quality has improved significantly. It is the serum that will help to repair broken colored & bleached hair. For inner of the hair, the serum will repairs and strengthens broken bonds deep in the cortex, the hair fiber's inner layer. And for outer of the hair, the serum will reverse up to 1 year of of surface damage to smoothness. I couldn't believe how shiny and soft it left my hair, whether it was used as part of the set or on its own with my own products. It has totally replaced a few of my other treatment products. I love Garnier products. However, again the packaging was a bit of a pain to deal with because the product is thick and the square bottle doesn't distribute it easily. I also couldn't tell if it helped my colour last longer. But it's affordable and easy to find on the shelves, so I'm thrilled to keep using it. It smells good too, after using this for a while I noticed how nice and clean and healthier my hair started to get. There are two types of serum that look quite similar at first glance — one is for color-treated hair, and the other is for moisturizing. I noticed that the one for color has a more milky white color, while the moisturizing one is more transparent. I usually use this Garnier serum once or twice a day. My hair is long and dry, and it works really well for me. But if someone has healthy or oily hair, it might feel greasy. The effect only lasts about 10 hours, though. Once you wash your hair, it goes back to being dry. But overall, for that price, the quality is really good!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Not bad! Tried the Garnier hair filler + ceramide sultan's shampoo and conditioner with the serum. The shampoo and conditioner smelled sooo good! The conditioner felt thick like a mask when applying it also when rinsing it out. When I put the serum in, the scent threw me off. Not a fan of the smell of the serum. I hope they will come out with a better version of this one.
