My hair has never been this beautiful… I have dry and frizzy hair, wavy and curly… And I have an oily scalp. This is perfect because it does clean very well, and it doesn't strip my hair! I don't want to use a sulfate free shampoo because my scalp needs a good cleansing shampoo. Sodium laureth sulfate is okay for me! (But not sodium lauryl sulfate…) This shampoo is perfect for me and I am glad I found it. And the quantity you get with the price… It's really great and reassuring because everything is so expensive now… Thank you Garnier!
My looked healthy after using this shampoo, almost as if I had just gotten a hair cut. It brought shine and life to my hair without changing my routine, but just by changing the shampoo I use.
I have very dry; color-treated hair and when I first tried this I absolutely loved it. Seems a lot of other so-called moisturizing shampoos really don't have what it takes to leave my hair soft and moisturized once I rinse the shampoo out after washing. Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Shampoo leaves my hair feeling lovely and much softer after shampooing and rinsing. I just love it! I can tell that the oils in this shampoo make such a difference in the texture of my hair. Because my hair is so dry I had thought of buying the V05 hot oil treatment, out of desperation (even tho the effects of this oil is only good for one application and after that you can't feel the benefits of it anymore). But using this shampoo gives you the same benefits as hot oil, only you are shampooing it in each time you wash your hair. It just works so well for my dry hair. I am very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone with dry hair. If you have OILY hair, this product is not for you. Look for another Garnier Fructis product. I love all the sleek and shine products. The matching conditioner and Anti-Frizz Smoothing Milk are totally awesome! Very happy and satisfied!
I've been using this for a month and love what it's done to my hair , it feels softer . It is definitely much more shiney ... though the scent is a little strong and didn't dissipate well
I was so excited to try this line. I thought it was going to do everything that it said. It cleaned my hair, but left residue everytime, no matter how long I rinced it out. It didn't leave my hair as straight as the Joico and Redken products I used to use (I would've expected that though), and it left my hair tangly and falling out more. The only things it helped me with was split ends, made my hair shinier, and look healthier. The number one thing I wanted was no split ends. I saw less of them, but because of my tangled hair and me constantly combing it out, they came back. I used this shampoo, along with its new deep conditioner and anti frizz serum (which makes my hair and hands so greasy). When I'm done with this product line, I'm switching to Pantene. Which will probably be the same results, but I'm going to try their Breakage to Strength line, which will hopefully help with my split ends. My advice, is to try it anyway, because maybe it will work for you hair. But it didn't really work for my coarse, curly, dry hair compared to salon brands like Joico and Redken.
The VERY negative side of this shampoo is that it leaves behind a heavy residue, no matter how much I rinse. I had hoped it would prevent the need for shine mist, but that's still needed on the days I straighten my hair, which makes the hair even heavier. It gets oily so much faster and I have to wash it more often--even when I don't use the shine spray. Garnier makes some great hair products but I consider this their first fail. Used properly, their shine mist works wonders without the weight. I'd recommend sticking with your favorite shampoo/conditioner, use a shine mist and forget this mess.
This product does the exact opposite of what it says. As soon as I started using it, my hair got big and crazy, frizzy, and out of control! I hate this stuff, I'm going back to Frizz Ease.
