Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Zero Shampoo 12.5 FL OZ

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many different shampoos and conditioners in my life and I was excited to try Fructis Sleek and Shine Zero line. The first item was the shampoo. I was delighted that it was paraben free and vegan. I was also surprised it contained marula oil and fruit proteins. I've used the original shampoo a d conditioner but had to stop because the conditioner contained parabens, so I was glad to see they changed it. The texture of the shampoo was great and lathered up really quickly. The smell of the shampoo was nice and refreshing. It did not smell of chemicals or too much like perfume which I liked. Even without the conditioner my hair felt smooth which when using regular shampoos it often turns study together and rough. After drying my hair it looked very clean and sleek which is exactly what I needed. I could tell the shampoo was gently and did not strip my hair of oils. Overall this shampoo covered all the basics I look for when looking for shampoo: paraben free, vegan, pleasant smell, gentle and gives me smooth and sleek looking hair.

The formula is made with citrus proteins, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B6, and lots of plant-derived extracts. Also made with Marula Oil, this spray does not leave your hair oily like Argan Oil sometimes does. I use it in conjunction with the Sleek & Shine Zero Conditioner and Smoothing Light Spray, and a sea salt spray which gives my dry hair some texture. I've definitely noticed sleeker hair without my usual frizzy curls. Impressively, the frizz stayed managed even going a few days between washes. Very little of this shampoo is needed to do its job--and I have long chest-length hair! After 4 weeks of use, nearly my whole bottle is intact. I'm very pleased with the new line of "Sleek & Shine Zero" products added to Garnier Fructis' line and will continue to be a purchaser of this line! With information found straight from the label, the clear shampoo in this 12.5 fl. oz. bottle is silicone free and paraben free, with no animal derived ingredients or byproducts. It is a vegan formula and the bottle itself is made of recyclable PET plastic with 50% Post-Consumer Recycled Waste. Garnier Fructis is partnered with TerraCycle "to keep beauty products out of landfills". Not only is Garnier Fructis doing great things for haircare, but they're also environmentally conscious. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing I do when I get a new shampoo (as odd as it sounds) is smell it. This shampoo has a pleasant but very light scent. The scent doesn't stay in your hair after you wash and rinse (I didn't smell it at least, and no one else said anything). You only need 1 wash and rinse for this to work. There is no need to wash, rinse and repeat. This shampoo works in taming frizz without weighing it down. I have fine, thin hair so this is always a worry of mine! This works best though like it says on the bottle with the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Zero Conditioner and Smoothing Light Spray. This is a great product and one I hands down recommend! The photo is one using just the shampoo and conditioner from Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Zero with no other products.

Before I received Garnier Fructis my hair was very stringy, dry and hard to manage. I could never find a good enough shampoo. After using this shampoo, my hair has been smooth, less frizzy and more shiny! I absolutely love this shampoo and will be using it for as long as I can. Amazing.

So I need something that will get rid of the oil each day without stripping the moisture I need from my hair. The Garnier Fructis Sleek& Shine Zero Shampoo really impressed me. It did exactly what I needed it to do. Got rid of the oil and product buildup without stripping my hair of moisture.

i bought this shampoo and conditioner a few weeks ago and i have very fine and most of the time oily hair so i can't really use shampoos with oil in them which sucked because my hair is always so frizzy and my ends are dry. so when i saw this i was skeptical because it had oil in it but i saw it was made for fine hair. so i decided to give it a shot. and im so glad i did! it's made my hair unbelievably soft and not completely not frizzy but it's helped so much! and it doesn't weigh my hair down or leave a greasy feel or look! so if your hair gets oily easily, don't worry about this. just don't over do the amount you apply to your hair that's all. i'm very sad i haven't found the leave in treatment yet though. i really want to try it.

My hair is so much healthier now that I use this, and I've gotten more compliments on my hair than I ever have in my life. I have really long curly, frizzy, damaged hair and this product takes away the frizz completely! Also, the smell of this shampoo and conditioner is just amazing! Definitely the best smelling hair products I've ever used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo has a great fruity scent that lasts on your hair.I love it.I used Garnier shampoos before and always loved the way they smelled.It's a good shampoo.It cleans hair very well,it produces good amount of lather which is important to me and you don't even need to use a lot.It makes my hair very shiny and soft to touch.As far as claims of being weightless...I don't think so.Which I didn't expect it to be.There are many shampoos on the market that claim the same but I yet to find one that actually would be.So no surprise there.But it did manage my frizzy hair pretty well and kept it nice and smooth for a long time.I also loved that this shampoo moisturizes and nourishes my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have naturally wavy and very thick hair. A lot of times I don't straighten it because it's just too much work. After using the Sleek & Shine Zero shampoo my hair drier a lot less wBy and was much more manageable. It didn't take me nearly as long to straighten my hair after using this shampoo. I definitely recommend it, and especially for the price you can't beat it!

I also felt that a small amount went a long way which is not common with the amount of hair that i have. The shampoo washed out easily and i felt no residue. However, although my hair looked wonderful that first day, the next day my hair was way more greasy than it typically would get. Additionally I did feel as though it weighed my hair down in comparison to other shampoos. A great feature is the mo frizz factor which actually worked wonderfully and as promised.
