I've used this brand and color for years, It seems gentle on my hair. I'm 81 and didn't like my mostly dark gray hair with a bit of white. Now I'm a lightest blond again. This product is standard for mixing and applying. No problems.
Im brunette %26 graying but fighting it. My hairdresser suggested trying a little lighter color to help camouflage the gray as it comes in. This light ash brown is PERFECT. Looks like I've had professional high lights done. I love it!!!
I have been using 066 for years and LOVE it. I tried going back to a color closer to my natural dark brown, but that didn’t feel like “me” anymore. I went back to 066 and the compliments started pouring in again like they have all these years. At the age of 45 I don’t have a ton of grey, but it completely covers what I do have, and it goes well over my natural dark brown without having to lighten it first. My hair also looks so shiny and lush right after I use it. It does bleed when you shower the first couple times as reds are notorious to do, but the fading is minimal, and the shade it eventually fades to is still gorgeous. The photos I uploaded are during varying stages of growth and time between colorings.
It made my dark dirty blonde super blonde. Lol. It’s pretty good. Just rub in your roots! I missed one tiny spot near my root and it’s obvious it’s just didn’t get rubbed in. But the color is even and not red or brassy like other people have said. I’m leaving a photo to show. I have purple shampoo coming to tone down the yellow. All in all not bad!
Turned out natural looking love it dyed it over half bleached blonde that turned yellow and dark roots 4 inches thick and covered evenly just started at the roots waited to add to rest of the hair until roots got covered then covered all the hair used two boxes to lather in well left on for 30 minutes
This hair dye is like a secret agent - it infiltrates your locks and transforms them into a rich, intense blue-black mane that's as mysterious as a moonless night. Say goodbye to bland hair and hello to a bold, sophisticated look that'll make you feel like a stealthy ninja (but with better hair). Just don't blame Garnier when your friends start calling you 'the dark one'.
As a natural blonde I did not need to light or change anything before going with this color. It turned out mor red than any brown. I actually like the color but is nothing like the picture shown on side of box of current color to colored color. Very red. Hair dos not feel dried out or damaged after coloring and process was simple with clear instructions. First photo is natural color. Second photo is day 3 after first shampoo. 3rd photo is week 3 after color change.
I have used this brand for many years, but unfortunately it's changed. The price has gone up, but the quality has gone down. Every time I'd use this brand I would have amazing results. Lately I've been disappointed.
I'm getting really tired of hair color saying it's ash and then turning out brassy/orangish! I'm trying to find a color close to my natural color so I can grow out my dark brown (colored) hair. It covered my grays and the conditioner was nice, but if you're looking for an ashy brown, this isn't the one. Now I have to go fix this. I bought the medium ash brown, btw.
Buyer beware. ladies do not purchase the Garnier Nutrisse hair coloring from walmart. i purchased this and found the box to be a little different, although on the box, it claims a new look. So I was like, okay, maybe they are changing the packaging. So I proceeded to open up and packaging and get ready to do my hair. So as I am putting the color cream into the bottle I notice its thicker than usual and have to squeeze harder on the tubing and only to realize the cream coming out is a gray color and looks like mold or something coming out of the tube. I will stick to purchasing my hair dye from my local pharmacy, Walgreens. I have added pictures showing the color difference from both the one I purchased from Walmart and the lighter green one from Walgreens.
