This is the best home hair color that I've found to be economical and easier on hair. I've found that parabens and some other chemicals have been extremely hard on my hair and have caused my hair to become thinner. I had credited this to middle-age, but it turns out that it's not. This color doesn't contain the harsh stuff, and it has more stay power. I've found that I don't have to color as often as I have with other products. I definitely recommend this.
I have fine hair prone to breakage. This hair dye is by far the best! Its gentle on my hair and does not cause alot of hair loss or damage. This makes it a winner in my book! I love the color and covers any grey i have. Overall if you have thin, Fine or simply want beautiful color that is not harsh on yout hair try this! ive used this dye several times and have never had alot of hair loss or damage after dying my hair using this product. I highly recommend!
My favorite box hair dye yet, I usually purchase hair dye at sallys but it doesn't really last long, this color has lasted me months before requiring a retouch!
This is the only color that covers my gray for the most part. I don't like that the after color condition will leave my hair looking wet and pure greasy. I have to add shampoo to the conditioner which is against the purpose but I'll continue using. It leaves my hair feeling soft and covers the gray.
The product itself is great, left my hair so soft and nourished. But the color came out wrong for me. If I could find the right color I would use again.
You'd think with all the bad reviews they'd change the formula or get rid of the color.. I had high hopes that it would come out the color but it's not even purple. It's pink/red and not at ALL what I wanted. If I wanted red I would have gotten red..
This hair dye was a complete waste of money. It did not turn out to be the color shown on the product packaging, and despite washing my hair thoroughly after application, the dye kept running and badly stained my pillows. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.
Misleading product hair dye is not natural. It does have a chemicals in it and it's not all oils I am allergic to hair dye. I always use hair dye that are made out of plants and oils and things like that and this one put me to hospital last night, which it tells you that it's not a natural product.
i used to love this shade and brand in general.. but after the recent revamp, oh my GOSH. the smell is horrendous. i used to LOVE the scent it would bring to my hair, including the dye and conditioner itself. now….. it has such a strong ammonia smell?? it's foul. i had to step outside because i thought it was going to be sick. WHAT HAPPENED
I dyed my hair today with this product, B4 that I purchased in May 2025. I noticed it became very thick in the bottle after mixing it. I had to shake it several times to get it to come out. Maybe that was my warning that something was wrong. I put it on my hair and left it on 30 minutes. After rinsing it out, I noticed it barely colored my hair, and the gray was still showing. Kind of a dull color on my hair. I looked for an expiration date, but I didn't see one, only 70Z100.
