I put it together added gas mix and chain lubricant. It started on about the sixth pull and runs well. I cut down a small tree and cut up some pretty good sized limbs from another tree. This chainsaw has power and cuts faster than other chain saws I have had. It cuts much better than my poulan chainsaw. I would recommend this saw and the price was much lower than some other saws I have had.

oiler not working
The saw runs great but, the oiler doesn't work. Ive contacted the shipper but , i havent been answered .

I had to add a small spacer to align the bar to the sprocket after that it works well

Honest assessment
The chainsaw appears to be well made but I could not get it to start. In addition, the chain adjustment screw leaves a lot to be desired as well as getting the chain, bar and drive sprocket to line up properly without binding is a test of ones patience.

You sent me the wrong chainsaw , You sent me a Dereal… We were moving out of state and didn't realize it in all the commotion… We hit the ground running and had to use the chainsaw… Beware you get the correct saw!!!

Think Twice
Dead on arrival. Looked like it had been returned. Walmart and Salem no help. I have to return at my expense to Canada where Salem is based.

Pull chord broke after a few uses and no longer recoils. The device will not start because of this issue.
