GASKY 2.5HP Walking Pad Treadmill 265LBS Weight Capacity Remote Control LED Display Under Desk Treadmill for Home/Office

First of all, and very important, I am a 5'8, 145 lb. man, meaning I am well within the parameters suggested on the packaging for use of the product. This item arrived intact with solid and clean packaging noted. Upon setting the walking pad up to test its functioning ability, as well as checking the usual important moving parts, tweaking a few things per the instructions in the manual, powering it on, starting the walking band's movement with the included remote control, a loud clanking noise can be heard with each stride on the pad. I tried checking my positioning, the products positioning on the floor, tweaking the settings on the walking pad's tension, and every other quality control check, and found that a bracket on the bottom of the pad has a stripped lug nut hole, which causes the bracket to bang against the frame each time you take a step. I really wasn't surprised to learn of an issue, especially with how cheaply this product was very obviously produced. I understand and wasn't expecting anything really solid but certainly expected more than what I received. I would not exchange this for another one but instead will take a full refund of my money. I honestly don't believe this walking pad would have lasted a month if it had come in perfect working condition out of the box. The only real positive for this product is how easy it is to set up and use. None of that matters if it comes in disrepair and you never get to enjoy it.

Concerned that it goes at high rate of speed with no safety handle.

I like the size. Works perfect for the space I have. What I dislike is the lack of handlebars.
