Seems to be A Motorard, good quality.
This thermostat seems to be a perfect fit for a 305 Chevy. I had to replace twice in 6 months due to wild temp fluctuations. There maybe an air pocket causing this and not any defect in this part. I see there is no pin jig in the base to allow bleeding but neither does the OEM. I bought it thinking it is premium over OEM, so I wonder. Anyways, the actual part says Motorad on it which I thought was interesting.

So Far So Good, But Still Replacing It.
Didn't Like That It Had Motorad Stamped On It. I Had Just Gotten Rid Of Two Of Them %26 A Motorad Temp Sensor That Gave Me Trouble. Will Be Replacing With Motorcraft Thermostat. Already Replaced The Coolant Temp Sensor.
