I liked the price of my notebook as well as the color. I did experience an issue with set up. It said something about default user0 and was asking for a password. Customer service is only available until 6 pm so I tried to get support online but the site was not working. I went on YouTube for answers and had to do a system reset. After doing this, I had not problems. I am enjoying my Notebook so far.
Just Love It!!! It's Very user friendly, set up with voice was so quick and easy, slim, nice looking style, light weight. I've had a lot of computers and brands and I would suggest if you are in the market for this style computer I would buy it now, price is right too!
$189 folks. 1080p screen and THX sound. Not the best or loudest of either, but fantastic for the price. You will NOT get a 1080p 14-inch laptop anywhere else for this price. I needed an at-home work laptop, sure the webcam is terrible but I am not filming movies here, and when the lockdown is over I will still have a decent screen for videos and a decent sound system, especially with some speakers.
Very good inexpensive laptop after a month of use. I immediately changed from Windows S to full version of windows (easy to do, no cost, built into the system) and loaded Office, Quicken and Netflix and the computer works great for all those and surfing the web. I use Edge browser and typically keep 5 to 10 tabs open with no problem. I use to purchase a high end ($2500 ) laptop every two years for work, this does not have the quality and high end feel like some of those, but it works great for the basics and 1/15th the price. I figure if it breaks in a year or two or I drop it, no big deal, easy to replace for the cost.
this note book computer is a little bit hard to get in two at first but take out the s mode and it makes it a lot easering to get in to and use it's great and i can go anyware on it and i can have want i like on it and im glad it is a gateway becouse they last a long time. it would be nice if the cord was longer other then that it is a great little computer. i like it somuch im thinking about geting aother one
20 DAYS! after receiving this laptop the touchpad went haywire. I tap on the pad and the cursor would jump to a different spot on the screen. Then sometimes I would need to hold down the left click in order to move or highlight a word or to scroll down or up with the action bar then click the right click to release it. I get click lock even after I went in and unchecked the box for click lock. It's so aggravating. Not sure if this i proprietary to just this one as I haven't seen this with other reviews. Will be returning.
Came in nothing but the gateway box, left on my porch.... Trying to get ahold of the warranty people because after using the thing a total of 6 or 7 times (didn't use it much because it's been super slow since day 1, it honestly had me questioning whether it was new or used), I ended up getting the blue screen..... praying I don't lose all the pictures that I loaded onto it..... I am so angry
I purchased two of these on February 24 of this year for my parents neither one of them, do anything with them other then play games. my mother computer went black will not turn off or do anything else. I think this is bull crap . I paid cash for this and for it to go bad this fast is very disappointing. I would not recommend that anyone purchase these in less you are just want to throw your money away. very dissatisfied with the computer.
This was very painful to configure/set up. You will need to download windows updates for it even to respond. Once I set up all my preferences I still battle to wake it up/respond. It's decent but not easy to use. I find it very sub-par. I had to de-sensitize the touchpad settings because it was going crazy. The picture is nice and large for persons not able to see easily. The keyboard needs a typewriters touch. It is not sensitive at all and needs sincere plucking. For one hundred and eighty nine dollars I sincerely hope it lasts a year. I plan to replace this with something MUCH more satisfying.
Horrible my boyfriend brought this laptop for me only had it 3 weeks and it's flicking on and off it stutters and it don't move swiftly ... it takes a lot of refreshing to it get to one site .... I really hate this laptop... I can't do zoom calls . Or get on google classroom DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY . It's stylish but it's not a dependable laptop at all .
