Bought this for my partner for Christmas, and he loves it so far. Very neat and crisp looking, especially for the price. Since it was on sale, I was a little worried about how small it was actually going to be, but once we opened it, to my surprise it was a lot bigger than I expected. The quality of it all was great and I would definitely recommend this to others for their first lap top, to use for school or just a lap top to have for personal use. Pictures and videos look amazing as well. Very easy to turn on and set up. Definitely user friendly! We have only had it open for a couple of days but everything looks great so far! Will update review if anything out of the ordinary decides to happen!

Do not buy this laptop unless you want to pay for Microsoft 365 for the rest of your life. Once you register and accept the licensing agreement, you're stuck with Bing and advertising pop-ups every few minutes, no matter how you adjust the settings. The "free" 1-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal is not free. Office apps will not work unless you pay an additional $69.99-$99.99 upfront.

nothing but trouble with this laptop. 50% of the time will not connect to wifi. Something to do with the drivers. Very annoying

Was able to set up laptop. Once setup, the bottom 1/3 of the screen turned black and started flashing. Returned item at the store and purchased the same model. Got it home and set up, same thing. Will be driving back to store for return and to purchase a different laptop. Would not recommend.

i purchased and contacted the seller to make sure it was a new unit and not refurbished. i was assured that it was brand new and when it arrived there was a tag on the outside of the box stating it was not new and inside the box was another note telling me how to set up my REFURBISHED COMPUTER which was not seen until I set up the computer and unplugged it to move room and the computer died. So the battery is also bad.

This computer is a complete waste of money. It lacks power and capability to do even the simplest tasks. I’d return it if I could.

this is the worst!!!!!!! i purchased one for my son in August 2022, i brought it for Christmas. He opened it and was able to use it for a few hours because it shut down and wouldn'tcome back on. We let it charge overnight, and still nothing. i had to send it to Gateway. Received it back, and it cuts off in the middle of him on it. no warning or nothing. i had purchased me one too, thinking that his problem was fixed, but since it has not been fixed, i immediately returned mine to the store before the return window closed. i didn't want to be stuck with two laptops that are not functioning properly. i knew i should have went with HP

Product Key Code for Microsoft 365 is NOT included in the box. You have to go through Gateway Support to get a code. I've been waiting for two days, had conversations with two live people, online chat sessions and 12 emails so far no resolution. The laptop itself seems pretty good. Might return it if no Key Code supplied.

I was told it was brand new and never used and when I received it I found out it was used and refurbished. when I contacted the seller I was told in a few words "" if you don't like it send it back and we will get you a refund"" The seller didn't care that I was lied to and I would make sure others knew that they are a dishonest company."

The power button is exactly where the delete button usually is. So approximately 27 times a day I accidentally hit power instead of delete HORRIBLE design I have also had a lot of trouble with it staying connected to the wifi. the driver disappears a few times a day and I have to restart for it to connect again
