Gateway 15.6" Ultra Slim Notebook 256GB I don't usually buy Gateway products since I've not had good experience and have heard others who had them always complaining about their performance. I had been seeing them for awhile at Walmart and finally took a chance. I like that it has the fingerprint option and it doesn't force you to use the "S" version of Windows. I like using Chrome for my browser, with the "S" version you can't use it. So that is definitely a plus. The bonus is that it's PURPLE! Time will tell if I made the right decision.
very nice laptop for the price. works smoothly and starts up fast. on ebay for $547 so I am extremely happy with buying it $150 cheaper at Walmart. Highly recommend.

I like the vibrate color but I dnt like that its a little frustrating trying to navigate you're fingers for the right click to copy/paste on the keypad. Overall I will be purchasing again for christmas as gift to my daughter. I bought a swivel stand for it as well.
This is the fastest computer I have ever owned. The SSD Hard drive is super.
I like the computer from a performance aspect. It's got a descent processor and ram. It's got a nice FHD LCD. It came with Windows 11 Home. It performs well. But Gateway wrapped a descent computer in probably the cheapest case possible. The keyboard feels cheap. The lid (with the LCD) and the base (with the keyboard) both flex. I originally bought it for my teen grandson, but I don't feel this computer can physically survive long if used as a mobile laptop.
This computer was a huge loss and disappointed to me. I bought the laptop NEW. After having it 3 months and using it very little the computer screen went black and wouldn't turn back on. I contacted Gateway with details and pictures. I had to send it back for repairs and $35.00 shipping. I just got it back a few days ago, used it twice and BOOM same thing! The screen went blank and is unusable. Why do they have to REPAIR A NEW COMPUTER!! Save your money!!!
Plugged the charger in and the charging light came on for just a second. Assumed the battery was already charged so got signed in and saw the battery was at 3% and not charging. Grabbed a multimeter to test the charger and saw it was putting out over 30 volts when it is rated for 19 volts output. Unable to power the laptop so plan to return.
Laptop is already broken. Not even 6 months. Horrible product
