My husband and I seek out protein bars, shakes, etc. and our family doctor recommends whey protein. These Chocolate Caramel Protein Bars in Gatorade Recover, meet or exceed our expectations in every way! They are DELICIOUS, 20 grams of PROTEIN, 330 Calories per bar, and have an enjoyable texture. I wouldn't want them to change anything about this bar!
This is not your typical protein bar. It literally taste like a candy bar! With 20 grams of protein and only 340 calories. If you like chocolate and Carmel I suggest giving this protein bar a shot. I plan on trying all the Gatorade flavors of protein bars.
I found these as a single bar in my local grocery store when looking for protein choices. They are huge so to eat a whole bar is a lot..... unless as a meal replacement. Not overly sweet but a lot of protein. A great way to end a meal and lose weight !
when I look for a new protein bar, I specifically find the sweet flavors I love which are obviously caramel & chocolate. This tastes amazing. It’s not sticky, the packaging doesn’t stick to the bar like some product where you have to almost disassemble your entire protein bar just to get the plastic off! This is delicious and worth the buy!
Honestly, I was surprised by the Gatorade protein bars. I expected that typical dry, chalky texture you get with a lot of protein snacks, but these are actually pretty decent. Here's my quick take: Taste: They lean a bit sweet, almost like a candy bar, which is a nice change of pace. I tried the Peanut Butter Chocolate and the flavor was spot on, no weird artificial aftertaste. Texture: Definitely a highlight. They're chewy and satisfying, with a nice crunch from the protein crisps, not that dense, gritty stuff you sometimes get. Filling Power: The bars are a decent size (around 2.8 oz) and kept me full for a while, making them a solid meal replacement when I was in a pinch. The Catch: They are a bit high in calories and sugar, so probably not an everyday snack if you're watching those numbers. I see them more as a proper post-workout recovery fuel, which is what they're designed for anyway—getting that 20g of protein and some carbs back into your system after a tough session. Overall, if you need a convenient, tasty protein boost for muscle recovery and don't mind the sugar content, they're a good option. I'd recommend giving them a shot if you're picky about protein bar texture.
Just tried the Gatorade Protein Bar and it’s actually so good?? It has that chewy, satisfying texture and feels super filling—perfect after a workout or when you need a quick boost. I love that it gives you that classic Gatorade “fuel” vibe but in a bar form. Definitely a solid option if you’re into something sporty, sweet, and convenient!
This tastes incredible, it also smells awesome. It is very useful when you are tired or just want something nutritive to eat. Its size could be better, but it is enough.
I get these at school sometimes! Tastes pretty good. The only real downside here is the price. I think it's a decent amount of protein. I grab these for a quick breakfast if needed. I do wish they were cheaper so I could have them more often.
I love the chewiness and crunchiness of this protein bar, and it tastes a lot better than other protein bars! There’s little aftertaste that you usually get from protein snacks and it’s quite delicious.
Taste and texture are all pretty good but the ingredients aren’t the best. I would probably look for similar macros on a different bar. Or only eat these occasionally
