Really happy with this purchase and looking to purchase 1-2 more sets. I feel this is exactly the chairs we've been looking for. The quality feels great and even our kids love them. I ordered 6 chairs, and they all arrived at the same time, and were packed perfectly. There was minimal assembly required so we were sitting on our new chairs within an hour! They are very sturdy and comfortable as well. The wood on the chairs is of a better quality than I expected due to the low price. I chose the walnut stain and it is very pretty. The chairs are not high back chairs - they are truly the mid-century low line chairs that are basically the same height as a dining table, which was what I wanted. We use 4 chairs around the table for everyday use, leaving two chairs to use as a desk chair or vanity chair until needed for more dining room seating. The fabric seat is basic but can easily be recovered with just a screwdriver and a staple gun. All in all, we love our new chairs, and the easy transaction with GDF studio!

It's been a long time since I've been impressed by both product and customer service! I sent support an email on Sunday asking about shipping time. I didn't expect to get an answer that day and was pleasantly surprised when I received a reply within an hour or so. I was happy that the chairs would be shipping from the state I live in, and placed my order. When I came home on Monday, I was beyond amazed that the chairs had been delivered! We purchased 2 sets of 2 Walnut finish with the charcoal seat for a total of four chairs. They were easy to assemble - especially since we used a cordless drill with an allen wrench bit. All came together well except one that we're adjusting. The chairs are very sturdy, and work beautifully with our mid century modern table. Thanks GDF Studio! We'll be shopping with you again.

Not very sturdy

Buyers should know that the item came with a faulty screw in the leg that wasn't drilled properly so it couldn't go inside. I tried assembling, lost time returning it, and then ordered another one. THE SAME PROBLEM! More lost time! So here's a photo of how far the screw was able to go down. No matter how hard we tried to screw it, that's all it could do. This wouldn't make the chair secure only that far in. Costumer service from the furniture studio company only offered return (yet again with no time lost compensation) or only a mere 15% off to keep the damaged item. Highly disappointed.

Product came with no hardware. Screws were missing. Unable to assemble chair.
