We have only had the air conditioner in for about 2 weeks and it hasn't gotten really hot yet, but so far so good. Love the black, it is a bit different and I loved that option. It was incredibly easy to install. It does have a bit of a gap where the sides slide in next to the air conditioner. We will caulk those and should be good. I have not set up the wifi on it yet, but happy for that capability. I have it installed in my kitchen, does not appear to be extremely loud.
This window unit is awesome! Takes no time to cool my apartment down, comes with remote which is super convenient!
Works perfectly, love the remote control and being able to change the temperature with the your cell phone!!!
This one. If youre wondering which one you should get. I dont use the features. Just blows cool air exactly the way you want. Fairly quiet. Not terribly heavy, probably still want 2 people for normal sized humans to install.
LOVE this AC!! Install was simple; immediately kicked out FREEZING air! It's 83 today (gonna get hotter soon) put the temp on 75 and it was COLD and FAST. It came with mounts (which I never use); a large roll of insulation; remote is great; and the UPS guy gave it a bit of a "toss" and it's packed SO WELL even that didnt' impact this great unit. I've had MANY over the years and this by far is the best one I've ever purchased. I WAS using 2 5,000 btu units and this ONE unit is WAY COLDER than the 2 - that makes not sense but it's true. As far as some reviews stating it ONLY goes down to 64 degrees - I don't even get that! If it's 95 outside and you set this as even 80 it's gonna run until it's 80 and it still feels cool. This is a GREAT PRODUCT: an even GREATER bargain - worth every penny. SO SO HAPPY I PURCHASED THIS!!! (And I was very uneasy -wow what a smart decision!) Perfect condition; WELL WORTH THE $$$$ - NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL! THANKS GE and THANK WALMART!!
Fast shipping great air conditioner
So far...so good! We installed in the separate garage and set temp on automatic. We aren't needing it to be cold in there...just temperate. 'Time will tell, but for now, it was a good purchase at a reasonable price!!
Does next to nothing to reduce humidity... Been running all day and when I came home tonight the humidity in my closed room was 60% which is only 7% lower than it is outside right now. Find myself wanting to run a dehumidifier in my room now because it feels so damp in here. Does an excellent job at reducing the temperature though.
Died after almost 4 months. I bought the Walmart protection plan, but because it was less than a year old I had to use the manufacturer's warranty. They want me to pay out of pocket for another air conditioner up front and wait 6 to 8 weeks for a check to reimburse me. This is bull crap. Like I have another 300 dollars to spend on an ac unit. This is Florida in the summer time. Its unbearably hot. I am sooooooooooo miserable in this heat. The protection plan was for nothing. What a complete rip off.
Open gaps all the way around!!! You need to caulk it to make sure bugs can't get in! Loud! Not sure how long it will last!! Very disappointed with it!
