it's hard to find a brown cord. i needed one to match my sunroom to run along the floor on the other side of the room. a white cord would have looked out of place. length was perfect for my needs.

Great Connection
Extension cord is the perfect length for a den lamp. The cord color is a deep brown (not milk chocolate) and matches my lamp's electrical cord. Cord feels heavy, sturdy and ready to do its job. Would definitely purchase another GE extension cord for indoor or outdoor use.
