GE 33" Upright Freezer White - FUF21DLRWW

I haven’t had this freezer for long, but is nothing to not like about it. I am around it frequently and I rarely hear it running, and it is set at zero degrees. There is not a speck of frost despite the door being opened frequently. I think you could fit a polar bear in there, but that isn’t what I bought it for. I love it!

This is my first GE freezer and so far, I'm very impressed. Wish the side door holders were wider to be able to hold more items. The glass shelves were a nice feature and the drawers are also something new to me. I've always had good luck with GE purchases in the past, and I'm sure this freezer will be up to the same standards I'm used to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a smaller, obscure freezer. This GE is large, and so far has worked great, surpassing the old one in all aspects (size, efficiency). I especially love the temperature gauge on the outside and the warning alarm if the door is left open.

Love the storage capacity of my 21CF freezer. I like how the top 3 tiers are arranged and the size / depth of the in-door compartments. I also liked the small drawer feature in the middle so that little items can be frozen and not lost in a bigger shelf or drawer. I think I would much rather of had a single wire basket for the bottom tier rather than 2 plastic bins, but so far it has been very usable. I found that it only took about 4 hours for the unit to cool down to proper freezer temp after it was delivered. My previous GE freezer lasted over 35 years and I look forward to this unit lasting just as long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The interior design is very functional. The drawers and solid shelves are very practical. So far, we have really like our choice. The practicality of the interior temp showing on the door and the alarm for low temp are so convenient-I hope we never have to rely on them!

Nearly accommodated all goods stored in a 2 cubic foot smaller chest freezer. Takes less floor space than chest freezer. Door magnet seal is strong...takes 2 hands to open the door. Question: why wait some seconds to reopen the door? Frost free is great. Temp control/ display nice looking...have not used it yet. Comment: the power cord could be 2-3 feet longer...we have the unit positioned at an angle for the cord to reach the receptacle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Matches the capacity of our old freezer. Purchased this because it is frost free. Like the turbo boost feature to expedite cooling. Really like the temperature control being on the outside and visible at eye level. Have had it only three weeks so a real review would be better one year from now.

Horribly only lasted 5 years when said would last 12 all of a sudden alarm starts going off and ice cream is melted now I have to go shop for a new freezer and lost so much food

Junk compressor went out after 4 years. To get it replaced was quoted over 1300. Which is 300 hundred more than I paid for the freezer. Will never buy a GE product again.
