[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super functional and sleek appearance. It is spacious and quiet. It cleans every dish completely. I like the capacity and stylish appearance. It is also water efficient.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to use, minimal installation required. love how light the unit is to hook up to the water. The dishwasher is quiet when running and cleans my dishes very well. Many control options. A few different cycles to choose from. Decent capacity for our family. Overall great for us!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were surprised with how much you could fit inside this dishwasher. Runs quieter than most. Easy to use, love all cords and hoses tucked inside so we can use it as an island.
I previously had a review for the 18 inch dishwasher and thankfully I was able to return it. My review was made in haste as I had a full size portable for the last 20 years so the old one was a lot easier to work (just turned a knob). After I got used to the electronic panel and now that I have the full size, I couldn't be more happier with my purchase now. This is the most quiet appliance in my house and does an excellent job at cleaning the dishes!
Had updated my older larger dishwasher. Was nervous because I was used to the large size. There is only 2 of us in our household, so really not much of an issue. She cleans well, very quiet. My only downside is the cord to plug it is it pretty short. It luckily just makes it to my outlet. But it definitely should be longer for a portable dishwasher.
We have always had built-in dishwashers in every home we've lived in, so when we recently moved into a house without space or plumbing for one, we had to look for an alternative. After a lot of research, we decided on this GE portable dishwasher with a stainless steel interior and exterior. We couldn't be happier with our decision. It cleans dishes exceptionally well, operates very quietly, and is easy to move and connect when needed. It has performed just as well as the built-in dishwashers we've owned in the past. We haven't regretted this purchase for a moment and would highly recommend the GE portable dishwasher to anyone who needs a portable unit.
I ordered this online. I was so excited! Unfortunately it came damaged. Right side was dented which made the door unable to close and stay shut. All over the bottom outside was rust damage as it was very wet when unpacking. Otherwise it was beautiful. Just waiting to be plugged in. Ho hummm... Had to be returned. Sad day as now I mush WASH by hand all those dishes I wanted my dishwasher to wash... ugh!
bad dishwasher. the way the silverware basket is designed is horrible. you lift it, the handle comes up, then if you tilt it at all, the handle will come out completely and your basket will fall. i had to zip tie the handle in place so this would stop. next is the hose. it seems like an afterthought. like others point out, it doesnt get put away properly. it always hangs out. im going to need to 3d print some type of closure mechanism to stop this. Finally, and im not sure if this is a design flaw or i just got a bad one, but the lower sliding tray always comes off the rails. There is these two pieces in the back that are bent down on purpose to act like a stopper when you pull the tray out, and on mine only the right side is actually long enough to make contact with the door and stop the thing from coming out. this is a huge problem when the other side doesnt stop, it then throws the thing out of alignment, and when you try to push the tray back in it doesnt want to go, so you need to lift and manually align everytime. it washes dishes OK, but nothing crazy. i have to use the HEAVY load setting to make sure they get done well. there is no dryer. not really impressed with this.
Literal worst dishwasher I've ever owned. Problem after problem after problem and we haven't had it long at all. Leaks from everywhere. Replaced numerous parts now totaling hundreds of dollars. Still leaking from multiple places. Fix one thing and have a million other problems. GE is the worst brand ever. Buy literally ANY other brand.
Worst dishwasher ever! It leaks out of the bottom, not a lot of room, does not dry dishes, not organized well for being so small which makes it difficult to get all the dishes done at one time. I have this installed in my daycare and it does not keep up. Some days I have to do 3 to 4 loads of dishes for just breakfast and lunch, then I have to set them out on the counter to dry. I have a family daycare so I am only feeding between 5-7 children at a time. I spend all day doing dishes. I wish I never would have purchased it and i have only used it for 4 weeks.
