I installed this myself, first time, there are a few things I'd change in the order of instructions but overall it went smooth. I absolutely love this dishwasher!! Love the 3rd rack!!! Love the spacing of the prongs in the racks, everything fits great! Love the wide spacing of the silverware slots, in my last dishwasher none of my silverware with wider handle would fit!! Also love the water bottle washer and love that I can turn the feature on or off!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher about 2 years ago and didn't appreciate it until we moved to a condo with a Bosch dishwasher! The load capacity for the GE is incredible! When I went to load the Bosch dishwasher, i could barely fit 1/2 of the dishes that the GE held! As I said, we didn't notice the difference at first, but when we hosted Thanksgiving the difference was amazing! Not only does it hold a lot more dishes, they are always very clean at the end of the cycle, and completely dry too! We ended up switching out the GE into our new condo and putting the bosch into the house we sold!!!
Pretty darn impressed with this GE dishwasher! It was in my new home I recently purchased and it has adequate features for my lifestyle and needs. Washes really great, dries superior! So far, I've not even had to use rinse agent as my detergent has an agent incorporated into the tabs. Zero issues with spots! Prior to this model, I used the entry level model by GE and I was just as impressed -- especially for entry level! This model, however, is quieter overall. If there is one thing I'm not that impressed with, I'd have to say it's the third rack. I wish it was a tad deeper and nicer where I could place more items in the rack. But I'm still thankful it's there for flat items! It still gets used, nonetheless. (I think their upgraded models have better third racks.) Overall, I have enjoyed this model and glad it was included with my new home. Great features and noise is so minimal in my open floor plan. Thanks, GE!
I am extremely happy with my new GE dishwasher. The way the racks are designed, there is SO much more room compared to my previous dishwasher. And, it is SO QUIET!! We used to wait until we went to bed to start the dishwasher so we could still hear the TV. Now, we can't even tell when the dishwasher is running. Dishes are sparkling clean and nice and dry ! Highly recommend.
Our 17 year old GE dishwasher stopped working. We decided to replace it with another GE. It was an easy change out using the items that came with the new unit plus a couple of changes I decided to make to the previous installation. Used the dishwasher that night and it met our expectations.
Overall I like the dishwasher. A few things I noticed are control panel very sensitive so barely touching the panel does cause it to light up. The inside is nice with plenty of space and this is a super quiet dishwasher. Definitely like GE products.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is very quiet. Cleans very well. Although some cleaning cycles last for around 5 hours when we use drying/advanced drying. Really love the capacity of the product and how many vessels it can take. It has a water dispenser separately for the middle rack. This makes it very easy to load vessels independently.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher has good capacity however the 2 hour wash cycle takes 3hrs 10 minutes to complete. Also the heated boost function does not completely dry the dishes. On the positive side, the dishes come clean
I would enjoy this dishwasher if the dryer cycle could be used alone. The dishes are mainly air dried, which leaves too much moisture on the dishes. The troubleshoot is to crack the door open to facilitate drying. I left the didhwasher open overnight and the dishes were still wet. I had to dry them on a drying mat or hand dry them. The drying boost isn't much help. An option would be nice for the choice of air drying or heated drying. I paid a lot of money for a dishwasher that doesn't thoroughly dry my dishes.
It cleans well, it's quiet and has good capacity. However the upper basket assembly fell apart with only 2 months of use, stuck in the pulled out position. It took 2 weeks for it to be fixed under warranty. I couldn't use it, and the door remained open for 2 weeks which was a pain. I don't think I'd buy a GE dishwasher again.
