This AC is amazing. It keeps almost 1,000 square feet cool, doesn't leak, and doesn't need to be drained because it's self-evaporating. I had the same model for over five years with no issues, so I know they're built to last. Great product, great price.
works really well, It's GE so you can trust the brand. Very functional even on low it's still cools off like it's on high. I'm truly satisfied, very easy to install.
Putting the hose in the window was difficult. Finally I got it in so it would stay. It was the only hard part I had.
surprisingly powerful and very quiet
Great air conditioner, cools down my bedroom immediately highly recommend !!
Very happy quiet and easy to install.
Setup was pretty easy, although the instructions were a little unclear - For example, the instructions did not indicate the exact orientation for the window piece, or that the duct needs to be inserted and then slid over to click into place. Also, the unit is kind of bulky and loud for a small bedroom. It requires placement of 20" from a wall. For a room that is 10'x10', that means that it is taking up about 20% of the floor space. Also, the duct is kind of big and bulky. One other thing, it sounds like a small refrigerator that is continuously running. Overall it is fine. It definitely cools the room, but I think it would be difficult to sleep with it on, especially for a sound-sensitive sleeper.
Seems to work well. Venting panels didn't work with our window and spent a lot of time adding strips of foam insulation (which fortunately came with the unit) to assure a good seal. Draining the unit is a frustrating challenge! Drain is so low on the unit, one cannot place ANYTHING under the drain. Fortunately, was able to move the unit to stairs and put a bowl on the step below to drain the water. There is a second drain plug on the back of the unit, no information is given as to its purpose. No information is given as to optimum running time, if the unit needs a rest or if it can be run continuously. Overall, I rate this unit average because of difficulties mentioned. It hopefully will be a reliable unit, but disappointed that it is not user friendly.
We purchased this item in May. My son arrived at school June 13. It was easy installation and set up and it was perfect until this last week. The item keeps turning off and as of right now it no longer blows. The window has closed to return this item and we don't know what to do with it. Unfortunately, my son is five hours away in a dorm with no air as of now
I never received my order that was supposed to be delivered last week and I never received it. I paid so much money for this conditioner plus I put warranty insurance on it. Did not receive my order and I want my money back!
