GE APPLIANCES DSKP333ECWW PORTABLE DRYER White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used the dryer a couple of times. I am pleased with its performance. It's a bit larger than what I previously had but not huge. It's quite large enough and seems to work well. I don't know about the energy used as yet, but I'm sure it'll be fine. It's pretty quiet and controls are easily understood... I am pleased thus far.

I'm so happy to find a good dryer that will work in my 60 yr old apt that doesn't have 220 wiring. This works great with my 110 standard electrical outlet. It isn't noisy. I was concerned about reviews that said it is hard to open but that is not the case. It opens easily. Since I am a one person household the smaller capacity is fine for me. I have yet to receive an electric bill but I doubt it will be higher than the 220 dryer I used to have. The negative reviews I read before buying this have not proved to be true with this dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I exactly what I expected from GE, a reliable product. However, this 120v model does not dry as fast as standard 240v dryers, but I already new that. It takes a twice as long as standard dryers, but serves my purpose, as a new service panel and or wiring would have to be installed to accommodate a 240v appliance. When the driver delivered the dryer, he opened the door and then closed the door, but the door would not stay closed. He tried to fix it, and somehow it closed. When I setup the dryer, the door would not close again. I fixed it by slightly bending the door tabs to hold firm. I had to turn the tumbler in reverse to stop a metal sliding sound that seemed to indicate being off track. Other than that, I simply have not had a problem with it. I works fine and dries well and when expected. I like reliable products.

Best space saving dryer EVER. Our condo does not have laundry hookups so we opted for the GE set (versus the expense of remodeling to accomodate a washer & dryer). We couldn't be happier. The dryer lasted 10 years before any issues arised. We replaced it and it's still going strong after 5 years. Also this GE dryer is larger than the competition - making it the best choice. We also have a GE Fridge. GE will always be our favorite brand!

I initially bought this GE dryer because I wanted to put in a washer dryer in our bathroom without having to go through the trouble of installing 220v, etc. This dryer was just the ticket. It is a "compact" dryer, so it should be paired with a similar "compact" washer. The washer we had has a slightly smaller load capacity so we were all set to go. The unit does have multiple punch outs in the metal housing, allowing you to install it with a right side, left side, back, or bottom exhaust. You will need a 90' elbow for inside the dryer if you want to exhaust anywhere but straight out the back. I wanted the exhaust out the left side which after punching out the pre-partial punched area. This area however, was slightly smaller than 4' so a little grinding/ sanding was needed to get the exhaust tube to fit. Unit Dries well, provided you do not overload the dryer (remember it is a compact dryer) A full load in my compact washer dries in just under an hour. Unit is reasonably quiet for a dryer. I use the auto dry sensor feature and it works well. Lint tray in located in the door and is easily cleaned. The unit comes with wheels if you want to move it around. I will put it on our back patio during the warmest part of July/August (no sense in heating the house) and wasting energy in the process. It was a bit more expensive than I had thought it would/should be, but considering the speed at which it completes the task I can justify the cost.

I purchased the this dryer and washer on June 2022. Neither of these appliances have given me issues or problems. The dryer (do not overload) is perfect for towels queen/king sized sheets and comforters. Use the air dry sequence for pillows, bath rugs or other delicates.

We had some space constraints, so this dryer was selected as a function of it's size. But, the drying performance certainly doesn't match what the larger dryers provide. We just put the clothes on a drying rack once they come out of the dryer and let them air dry which is a work around which works for us.

Just purchased. Good size in and out can fit a gd amount of clothes, BUTTTT ........IT DOES NOT HEAT UP so my clothes are still alil wet after . I've tried every cycle my electricity bill is rising.. idk bout this

The dryer kept kicking off the breaker-found out there was a problem with the ground wire. I returned the dryer and got a refund.
