The dryer is a godsend! It fits more clothes per drying cycle AND it does not require multiple cycles to truly dry the clothes. Great design, too. The owner's manual is also very helpful. It's too soon to tell (we've only had the machine for 3 weeks), but we're hoping the electricity usage will also be lower than that with our old dryer. Thank you for a great prduct!

I have owned 4 different brands of compact condenser dryers over the years and this is one of the very best. The cycles and heat settings work well, there is a damp setting that's great for ironing, and the dryer turns itself off when the cycle is finished. GE has really upped its game with this set which is why I can recommend it. The sole complaint is that the dryer doesn't reverse so sheets tend to ball up but I've had them ball even in a dryer that does reverse. The set is stacked and well designed. I chose it over a brand I had owned before because of the good price and I could not have done better. My set is stacked in a closet and the compact size is perfect for me. I do 6 to 7 loads per week but they are relatively small loads so the compact size is suitable. Both washer and dryer handle my lightweight queen blankets very well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure about this dryer but after using it I love it. So many cycles to choose from. We live in a dry climate so the condenser adds moisture to the air. We empty the water it collects into a container to water the plants with. It's in the kitchen and it seems to be pretty quiet. I have loaded it with bedding and regular loads and it is plenty big.

The dryer is much smaller than our old one, but we didn't have room for the larger model of condenser model dryer. It does a great job of drying soft and wrinkle-free without softeners. We are aware of keeping to slightly smaller loads, and it really doesn't take a lot more time that way. Mostly, we use the "my cycle" setting since almost everything we own needs low heat, even our bath towels. It's programmed to use low heat, dry, and extended tumble. As for the cons, there is not a longer drain hose available for the condenser drain What person thought a 4-foot hose would be enough? It's nuts with all the different configurations in homes and apartments. It might work if you stack it and the drain is right behind it. We can't even reach our drain with the dryer bumped tight to the washer--not even if we added a pedestal to gain a few inches lift. Which is the other con. Take a look at most of the European models. There are all manner of hoses and lengths for other brands. So I'm stuck carrying the condenser tank through the house to the sink at the other end of the house after every load. Again, we do like the dryer, but I wish GE would catch up to the other brands. Vented dryers aren't even legal in some parts of Europe because of the energy waste and the danger of vent fires. I know these products are rather new to many customers in the US. I'm almost 70 and have mobility limitations. The dryer is very, very low. It needs the pedestal to reach ADA height. I can buy the pedestal, but the retailer that sells the dryer doesn't offer installation for that item. We cannot lift a 95-pound dryer and install it ourselves. To hire someone will cost as much or more than the pedestal. This doesn't affect how the dryer operates, but it is something we were not prepared to have to accommodate. The conclusion is we love the dryer and how it handles the clothing. The laundry is softer and much less wrinkled. It's a new product for most US customers and there are still some things to iron out with accommodating the market.

This dryer is absolutely incredible! I thought it might be slower than the vented one I previously had, but it was so fast! I absolutely recommend this model to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My expectations were low for this dryer, but I was pleasantly surprised. I live in a dry climate, that might help. Also I use the drain pipe instead of the tank, that's way more convenient. I use dryer balls to help the drying process and generally have mixed loads as I live alone and don't ever have a whole load of towels, etc. I usually do a timed cycle of 50 minutes for larger loads and 40 minutes for smaller loads. I think I'll try the sensor drying features next. I know when my electric company charges more for electricity, so I avoid those times with the delay feature. Better than I expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a smaller dryer to fit our space. The ventless feature means it fit in the closet with no modifications needed. Happy with how it works and dries clothes though recommend doing laundry in small loads. There are a lot of special cycle options (e.g., towels, rack dry, dewrinkle) along with the usual ones. It is pretty quiet. Empyting the the water tank, cleaning lint filter are simple enough to do. We've never let the water tank fill up though I don't think it would be too heavy. It is short, height-wise, as another reviewer mentioned. We bought a shelf so it is at regular height. The dryer is not heavy so if you need assistance putting it on a shelf and have a neighbor or family member around, they can put it on shelf (18" tall). I put it up on the shelf myself. Very happy with the purchase.

I chose this ventless dryer because my home is small and venting is a problem. This dryer is working well for me. Despite what some reviews have said, it dries my laundry in a reasonable amount of time, not unlike my previous vented dryer. I am very pleased with it.
