GE APPLIANCES GTW385ASWWS TRADITIONAL TOP LOAD WASHER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This large capacity machine allows me to not have to wash as often, and that's a plus for me. The controls are self-explanatory. However, I admit it took a little trouble figuring out how to get the machine to fill-up, but now that's a non-entity. The cycles of the machine are great, not too long or too short, just long enough to get the job done. There is hardly any noise and that's music to my ears. My clothes are clean and smell fresh after the wash and rinse cycle and that's the ultimate goal, and yet you look at all the other pluses that I mentioned above and that gives you the perfect machine.

We purchased this new GE washer because our old GE washer stopped working after more than 14 years of service. We trust the quality of GE appliance, therefore we decided to purchase the same brand as our old ones. Since we think the old washer is litte bit small, we purchase a bigger one this time. After we used this new GE washer to wash our clothes and sheets, we are very satified with its working efficience clean. The washer clothes are more clean and the washed sheets are the softest and cleanest than anytime of our washed sheets in the past decades. Thanks GE for making this wonderful applicant , it maks our life easier and comfortable!

No complaints. Capacity, controls, cycles, and performance are good. But the noise when agitating, is a little on the noisy side.

I've only had the washer for one month and have tried out a few features, but I am extremely happy with the cleanliness of the washed clothing and the function of the washer. My favorite feature is being able to tell how far along the load is by seeing the indicator lights as the clothing cycles through; that's more than enough technology for me. I can do without the fancy computer bells and whistles. Quick wash is my favorite for getting a few items cleaned in no time and with the right amount of water (sensing feature). I'm extremely happy with my purchase!

Super straightforward top loading washer. Our laundry room is in the garage (MidAtlantic area). We need appliances that can survive winter cold and summer heat. Based on research, this GE seemed to make sense. The basket is big enough for queen sheets, the controls are basic but with enough options for our family. It out-cleans the two washers (not GE) we had before that had more bells and whistles. After all, getting laundry clean is pretty much the point.

This washer is a great value for the price. It offers a large capacity, plenty of cycle options, and enough flexibility to handle different types of loads with ease. It runs relatively quietly and does a good job of cleaning without tangling clothes. One feature I'd like to see added is an alert at the end of the cycle for added convenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The capacity is large IMO. The basket is stainless steel and the controls are efficient and sufficient for me. The water level can be adjusted automatically. Although the performance sound is loud during the wash cycle, I have adjusted to the sound as the clothes come out very clean and the spin cycle is efficient. I only have used it 4 times in 5 days of having it so this review is contingent on future performance and endurance over time.

Good washer, simple to use, love the adjustable water levels, and it doesn't lock the lid except when necessary. Also love that I can access the fill water for rinsing out my detergent lid, which my last washer did not allow because the lid always locked.

I don't believe the agitation cycle on this machine Could get any louder . I can have the door closed To my laundry room And being another part of my house I can still hear it loud and clear.

[Employee of ge_appliances] Purchased washer in June and it stopped working 2 months later. Doesn't fill and sounds like it is just spinning when trying to start the load. Now to wait until the repair man comes by. Maybe we got a lemon, but a new machine should not break down after two months.
