You get what you pay for its just a basic air conditioner could fit in the window a little better not a problem if you just seal the edges with tape though. I love the controls and it does get cold pretty fast took a while when it first started but ever since it has been normal. Sound isn't too loud I can sleep with it being about five feet from my bed. Would recommend came with all the parts to secure the unit in the window you just need a drill.

(5,000 BTU unit) I purchased this excellent item for my trailer which is 6×12. It works fine to cool down the space. It is very clean looking being in all black and i am ecstatic about this unit being below 500w so that i can power it via solar. Yes it did come dented on top. Its the truth but the unit runs perfect. I spoke with Walmart about the issues many people were having about receiving the incorrect item. I was informed it rarely happens and not to worry about it because if it did come to that, i could return it and have the correct one shipped to me with no extra charge to myself. Just the assurance was swell enough to make this purchase confident that i would consider another online purchase from Walmart. Instore is a whole different story

Such a great AC i was hesitant at first but i love the many different options to save on the electricity bill! Love the remote it comes with and how easy it was to set up! Great purchase!

I like the fact that it is black. I also am pleased with how fast it cooled off my bedroom. It is pretty quiet compared to other air conditioners I have used. Not for larger windows. I got the 5,000 btu

I bought two of these units.... they are designed exactly like the units I replaced. The units replaced lasted since 2018 in our beach cottage. I am aware many of today's appliances are considered short term life appliances considering the prices. I like GE and have repeatedly bought their window AC units for my rental and the beach. We installed them right away this Memorial Day weekend. They are quiet, cool efficiently , and my favorite part is the thermostat control feature. When our bedroom reaches the set temperature the unit turns off.

This window AC unit works very well, I installed it in my master bedroom. It's quiet and pretty unique.

The air conditioner works great for my 7'wx8'lx8'h office. It's a bit noisy but overall cools the space in about 5 minutes. The only downside to this purchase is the backside of the air conditioner was damaged. I don't know if was like that from factory or delivery.

buttons are very hard to press by hand,and the unit came to me with a large dent in the rear. I didn't want to repack it so i just kept it and installed it.

So its October 15th, I just got this unit on May 20th, FIVE MONTHS AGO! The compressor sometimes didnt click on but I figured it was because it has reached the temperature. Today I went to turn it on and NOTHING! I unplugged, used the reset but, the panel lights up all lights then it goes black. It wont turn on!!! We didnt use the unit all the time. Only for sleeping, as it was in our bedroom.

It worked great until now. None of the buttons are working anymore and the remote died about 3 months ago. I can't turn it off without unplugging it and I can't control the temp. I'm guessing the computer is shot. Not happy and I will not buy another.
