Adds functionality to my Sony Bravia 3, such as numbers so I can dial in to OTA TV stations. It's larger and lighted so it's easier to handle. I can use it to select streaming channels too. Plus I can manipulate all the TV settings with this remote.
Bought this remote because the one that came with my tv stopped working. As soon as I got it homeasy I opened the package and added batteries. The first code for my tv worked and it's been smooth tv watching ever since. Great color and love the back light buttons.
Needed a 2-device, big button, backlit remote for Emerson flat screen TV with Comcast cable box...bought RCA 5-device in store and backlight capability was a joke...bought GE 6-device in store---BIG buttons, EXCELLENT backlighting behind each button, nice size with ease of operation. and quick set-up---the worst part was opening the package!
As someone who is somewhat tech challenged, I was able to program this remote with ease! Within about 10 minutes I had it out of the box and setup, with ease! Would highly recommend this remote
I don't know what prompted me to try the remote on the TV before looking up the code numbers, but I did. And it operated the TV without any code entry. I've had it about a week and haven't had any problems.
Easy to program to tv, light up buttons a plus !
This remote I bought for my bedroom, and for the limited devices that I have in there, it is fine. It is based on the four digit codes that you look up the device manufacturer, and test until you find one that works. It would not be up to the task for my main home theater system, since it lacks macro sequence programming. But for the price, you can't go wrong.
I love this remote. It has all the buttons I need: arrows, input, mute, numbers, volume, and power. I'm basic, I don't have or want a smart TV. The reason I gave 4 stars is because ever so often I have too reprogram the remote, but now that I know how to it's not an issue.
The good - large buttons easy to use. Buttons light up a nice blue. Was able to connect my sound bar and cool option to make Audio only work for one device no matter the device selected. Feature works perfectly. Fair remote for Verizon cable provides the most needed buttons to watch regular programming - no On Demand button. The bad - bought this cause it claimed it will function with Roku. Only two codes provided for Roku and neither work with my Roku 3. Setup is code hit or miss manual entry. Painful with my Sanyo TV with over 20 codes to try. DVD - there are no keys for Chapter jumps forward or backward. I bought this remote because the wife threw away the DVD player remote. Other - Walmart online price fantastic! I'll live with the issues. It still reduces my remotes from five to two. Very easy to use. Note - no batteries included. Takes two AA batteries.
It doesn't work. Back keyboard lighting doesn't work. I want to tecieve a bar code to return to a Walmart Store.
