I purchased this AC unit because I need a quick fix due to my ac unit going out. It cooled my room quickly. The price wasn't bad either. It may be loud to some people but it didn't bother me one bit.

I bought 4 of these 2 for my home and then 2 for both of my grandkids. They work perfect And does keep cooling in this insane heat we have been having

Replaced a vissani that was blowing hot air with this, I have 2 other GE window AC units that cool really well so I went with GE again. So far it is blowing really cold air. There are gaps around the louvers, more than my other two but clear tape sealed it up. I like the Eco option and it says it turns off when the room is cool, but it hasn't yet so I am not sure if that is correct. My other one dies which is a nice feature.

Purchased this product in an attempt to temporarily cool the main living area of my home while waiting for repair on my system. I also will be using this product in cases where the power goes out for an extended period of time along with my generator. So far this unit has been working as expected. The room is cooler and the humidity decrease has been noticeable.

Good working a/c for the size room that it's rated for. Display and markings are tiny and hard to read though. The wifi feature / app is not necessary or justifiable - just adds to the cost and is a silly marketing tool. Not impressed.

I have an older version of this model as well and the installation process and parts made my installation a lot smoother. But I did have to invest in some additional insulation as there are some gaps (understandable). This unit was a bit more expensive than I had hoped. Reliable nonetheless.

Installed it about two hours ago seems to be cool ing adequately. Low noise. My only complaint is the sides. The accordion style sides are very flimsy and doesn't fit the track very well. At one time there was about 1 inch gap between the metal and the Plastic louvers. I took the foil, air conditioning, tape and sealed the sides. Other than that seems to be a decent air conditioner.
