GOOD remote
responds well- unlike a slimmer GE remote. no light so no wasting battery should i sit on it. but the mute button is small but holding up. the volume and channel up/downs are in a circle so a little awkward

. Works With Magnavox HDD/DVD Recorder DVR.
This remote will work for the Magnavox H2160m9w HDD/DVD Recorder. I used the auto code search and it found the code in less than a minute. The remote that came with the unit cost close to 40 bucks with tax s/h. I got this one for under 11 bucks from Walmart.

Works like dishs
Programmed very easy. Nice to have my own. Wife likes to take remote and control tv. Then falls asleep and I am stuck watching Friends. Not now I change it using my own. For the price and ship to store just perfect.

Good Enough
Works as expected. I'd make the mute button larger, but it's fine. If they wanted to be more clever with the programming they could have you enter a code for the brand of device and then have it cycle through only the applicable command sets until you indicate the best match.

GE remote
Easy to program. One thing i didn't like and the reason I'm not using it is: i programmed it for directv and my tv, when i am on sat. Mode and want to raise volume i have to switch it to tv mode. Then switch it back to satellite mode. All functions didn't work with my Vizio

not easy
i believe this is a older model-and it is very hard to setup some of the features are not working for me, i wish i had follow my mind and pick a different kind of remote
