Easy to install m. Blows well. Cools down a room immediately. Does everything it promises in its description and more. Buy this window air conditioner. You won’t regret it. Love the wifi setting to be able to turn on while away to get room cooled down. Temperature works. We’re leaving on economy to see what our electricity bill will be.

I am cooling 730 sq/ft (living room, kitchen and dining room, and hall) in South Florida with tons of humidity, August, summer heatwave 2023, with outside temperatures from 90 to 112 all afternoon. This 8000 BTU is keeping it nice, and comfortable inside, a cool 74 to 77 degrees. In addition, it is a very quiet window air conditioner. On top of that, it only uses 6.3 AMPS of electricity. GREAT JOB GE AND THANK YOU !!!

I bought this to replace my 5000 btu GE window air conditioner and I have to say that I'm quite impressed. This unit puts out a lot of cold air really quickly and I even had to turn down the fan speed to medium because on high it felt like a hurricane! Would definitely recommend to another and will be buying again.

Love that it is black and looks so much better than the usual white air conditioners. This cools our bedroom ver nicely. Very easy to install. The remote is nice in the morning when you are too cold to get out of bed to turn off the ac 🥶 lol. Great price too!!! Very pleased with our purchase.

So I bought this not knowing it was able to be controlled with my phone so that’s a plus it keeps my room so cool I love it but the one thing stopping me from giving it a 5 star review is that it is louder than your typical window A/C unit but it’s tolerable for me since I already sleep with an air purifier in my room

As simply an air conditioner, this unit works great. I bought this unit shortly after the summer extreme heatwave (105 ) of 2022. The unit easily kept my room cool, and in turn made it a little easier to cool the rest of the house. On the negatives, unit came WITHOUT the wifi connection information, and even contacting customer support did not yield positive outcome. So, the wifi feature is unable to be utilized. The described "on/off" timer is NOT a true timer. Unlike my previous units, unable to set a delayed start. And the delay "off" is not a true "off" but rather a tiered

If it's too hot out it basically drops on its own and stops cooling and switches to fan. I can't understand why it happens. I had purchased over 20yrs. ago a GE air conditioner that lasted 20yrs. and it was the very reason why I chose to purchase this GE air conditioner. They don't make things like they use to, SAD! It's the worst purchase I ever made.

It came in damaged you can tell somebody had already returned it before probably for the same reason i sent it back and im still waiting to recieve a new one hopefully this one will come in better shape it was also a process to try to return since fedex wont print the label had to go to a ups just to print out the label then bring it back to fedex since that ups wasnt fedex compatible

Ugh! This unit is NOT quiet at all!! So loud and so many weird noises coming from it. Also the installation did not go smoothly. The bracket on the bottom is not secured well to the unit and I can't get the side panels to close all the way. I have relatively new windows and I would think they would make these panels to fit better! I'm returning this.

This AC sucks do not waste your money i ordered this AC TWICE because the first one was not blowing cool air and neither does the second one they both shows E8 with GE told me it means that something is wrong with the thermostat and they cannot do anything about it.
