I have only had the range for a couple of weeks, but so far I am very happy with it. The burners heat up very quickly and the oven is very easy to use and program. I have not tried the cleaning part since I have not gotten it dirty yet but I will try it in the future.
My new stove works great! My favorite feature is and always has been the glass top. The control knobs are placed nicely and easy to use and see. It has a large oven that holds a lot for baking. It seems energy efficient. Cleaning has been easy and the burners just wipe clean. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
Tried the cook top for the first time today and it was great! Easy to control, responsive, and cooks food faster than my old one did. Each burner is perfect. Easy to clean too!
It's an excellent range for the price - I've definitely enjoyed how it heats up and how quickly the burners heat up. The oven absolutely fits my needs and the controls are easy enough to understand. It also uses less energy than my old unit and I'm saving a bit of money. Has an automatic cleaning option, too. Glass top is great for cleaning-although it's a learning curve for what you should use to clean the top for me, since it's my first glass-top oven. Overall, I give it five stars.
Very happy with this range. Oven heats quickly and is a real nice size. Very easy to use and the burners are also quick to heat and show when the top is hot.
I like our new GE glass top electric range. It is a good product and value. My only recommendation for improvement would be to make the drawer easier to pull open.
This is my first time using a glass top stove and everything heats up really fast. I love the extra large burner that can be made smaller, it's so perfect for my large cast iron. The only complaint I have is that every little smudge or crumb shows up. I'll wipe it down and by the time it dries I see streaks. It's pretty frustrating. I'm hoping there's just a learning curve and I'll figure out the secret. lol oh I also don't like how easy it is if pans get slid that it makes a gritty noise. But it honestly is a great stove for cooking and baking. I would give it 5, but the noise and smudging would have me reconsidering if I were the one making the next purchase and I feel like buyers should know in case these are things that'd bother them.
Just a couple of weeks into owning this and for the most part I am happy with the purchase. I like the feature allowing one of the burners to be both a small and large size burner. It allows you to choose the size requirement with one control by using the same control knob. My only complaint would be the storage compartment is a little hard to get on track if you fully remove it.
I had it for 2 years, after the first year the extended burner would stay on high no matter what setting I put it on. 2 weeks ago the oven control board stopped working. For the price the oven should last more than 2 years. I loved it when it actually worked. 😞
Upon using this oven for the first time, I was baking the food item. When it was done I could not cut the oven off. I pushed the "cancel" button because I didn't see an "Off" button to mash. The "cancel" button made no sound at all. I called the store that I purchased it from and inquired about how to turn the oven off. I told them that I had went on the website to read the "Owners Manuel" but it did not explain how to cut the oven off!!! HOW DO YOU CUT THE OVEN FUNCTION OFF WHEN FINISHED BAKING??????!!!!!!!
