I replaced a thirty something year old refrigerator. I had to wait for a sale, so it was putting up with leakage from the old one. It’s perfect for the limited space we have in a townhouse kitchen. It’s not fancy but seems to have larger capacity. I like the storage drawers: 3 instead of 2. I don’t like ice makers and we couldn’t have it anyway. It’s a perfect fit and it works well. Advice: measure often to make sure your new appliance will fit. I did. This website would not initially me choose “shelving” which I think is a very positive feature.
We needed a simple outside refrigerator. No real frills and we got this one. Big enough for our patio very quiet and spacious. Like the clear bins and the middle shelf has a bin that slides Only thing I wish the freezer had is a light
I got a great price on it and very well made refrigerator easy to put on door handles and slide in the shelves plug it up and it's working just fine left on factory settings of number 3 top freezer is 6 degrees refrigerator is 36 degrees i would recommend this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had the refrigerator a couple of days but so far I am quite satisfied. It's replacing a similar sized refrigerator. It's clean and neat and I appreciate the glass shelves. It's fairly quiet, and so far no issues. I still haven't gotten all my food into it and as I've said, it's only been a couple of days so I cannot really (totally) evaluate it. But, this is my second GE top freezer refrigerator (also have a GE upright freezer) - both in my basement - and based on prior (continuing experience) I expect to have no issues.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice size refrigerator for 2 people. Good size top freezer on top and plenty of space in the refrigerator with 3 separate drawer bins for cheese and sandwich fixings , vegetables and fruits. Big shelves in the door hold a lot too. Runs super quiet and cold. It will definitely use less energy than the refrigerator it replaced.
I picked this fridge because 1. Fit the dimensions of the available space in my kitchen 2. Had a drainer drawer off the top shelf - which is not available in most units anymore. It is a very spacious fridge. The freezer also has a glass shelf, which makes a huge difference in storing frozen food! Love that feature. 3. I felt that it was a good price for the product overall. It sadly is not energy efficient- but that isnt going to change your monthly by much at all My only complaint is that I feel like the bottom of the fridge does not get cold enough (for my peace of mind), while products at the top freeze at times. I just practice caution in where I place certain items - which is what everyone else should do. When I place hot food in my fridge. I do get concerned that it is not cooling the food down fast enough and that the tempature of the fridge is impacted. This is a great fridge.I would recommend it to anyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this fridge 3 days ago. So far so good. It's a 17.5 cu ft, top-mounted freezer--plenty of space for the needs of my husband and me. I especially love the glass shelving much more than the wire shelves in my previous fridge because I feel they will contain spills and its an overall more stable surface. Also, there's a glass shelf inside the freezer which all ows for more storage (we opted out of the icemaker. Its addition might alter that configuratio.) We also like the fact that the door's top shelf is wide enough to hold a gallon of milk AND has a small shelf at its base to hold smaller items which utilizes frequently overlooked storage space. For it's size, this refrigerator has quite a bit of storage capacity. As far as efficiency, I am pleased with it's temperature, so far. I do have it set almost all the way to the coolest setting and nothing has frozen in the fridge compartment. The only downside--and the reason It's not a 5 star rating--is that when it runs, which is not constantly, it IS noticeably louder than my previous Whirlpool refrigerator. BUT amid normal household noise, it's not that annoying. I don't think company would pay attention to it, but it's something I will just have to learn to ignore. The. noise factor was mentioned in other reviews, so I had a heads-up going into this purchase and it wasn't a complete surprise. BUT I do want to stress that overall, it is a good fridge for the money. ,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GE refrigerator is super spacious and I didn’t expect it to be so large. Love the glass shelves, even in the freezer. The look is sleek and looks nice in my new kitchen. I would recommend this GE appliance. Very happy with the energy efficiency.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled our kitchen and laundry room and needed a smaller, newer second refrigerator. This 28” GE was perfect. We were able to switch the door hinge from the right to the left without much trouble. It looks good, has surprisingly good capacity, and hopefully will last for a long time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only had our new fridge for few weeks, we’re so excited to e apart of the GE Family. Right before Christmas it stopped cooling properly. We are having to dispose hundreds of dollars of the food we just purchased to fill to fridge and freezer. There is a lot of space so we did spend a lot. We hopping to get the issue resolved before the holidays are over.
