Wow!! I'm getting one for each room!! This is amazing!! Easy to set up in a few minutes with your smart phone. The bulb and be turned on and off, dimmed or brightened. The best part is color changing from bright white shades to mood lighting shades. It's amazing!!

To just say that this is just a light bulb, would be an injustice! The Tunable White Smart Bulb "C" by GE, is a godsend! Let me start by telling you about my favorite feature, the fact that it is dimmable! My wife is a night reader, so before she goes to bed, she has to read a few chapters from the latest book that she is reading. This used to be a big problem for me, because I have to be at work early which means I go to sleep early. It used to be a constant struggle for me as the light would keep me up. With the Tunable Smart Bulb, my problems are now a thing of the past! Now when I am ready to go to sleep, I can set her light at a lower level where it doesnt bother me. An added bonus, is the integration into "google home". So now I dont even have to get up to turn it off anymore, I can just ask google! The way it operates with Google Home, is by far one of the greatest additions to my home. I can even turn it on while I am away from home, to make it seem like someone is there. There is an option to set a scheduled time, where you can turn it on and off during the day. At this point, the word satisfied would be an understatement! This bulb makes me want to change every light in my home to the Tunable White Smart Bulb!

The GE Tunable White Smart Bulb gave me a glimpse into what the future of lightning looks like. Let's start with the setup. It was seamless and took me less than two minutes to complete. I screwed the light bulb into a lamp and the Google Home app detected it right away. A couple taps later and I was already controlling the light bulb on my phone. I was able to turn it on and off. It was extremely responsive. I was also able to adjust the color temperature from the app as well. There are six options - ivory, daylight, cool white, warm white, incandescent and candlelight. The color temperature can quickly change the mood of a room. I was also able to control the brightness of the bulb from the app. I noticed that there was some intermittent flickering for certain brightnesses. It is awesome that this bulb does not depend on a smart hub for it to work. There are many bulbs on the market that requires you to buy a separate piece of hardware for it to sync with smart devices. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this bulb to anyone looking for a easy to use smart bulb with their Google devices.

I love this light. It took mere seconds to add the C by GE app and get the light to work. It is adjustable by percentage. I love the fact that I can get such soft lighting. I can also turn it brighter when needed just by moving the adjuster bar. Definitely better than other brands I have tried.

Wow! Never thought that this could even be possible, a lightbulb that changes colors, gets turned on by a tap of my finger on the phone or by talking to Google Home, and can be set to whatever brightness that I want! This bulb is just unbelievable, I am absolutely amazed by all its qualities and capabilities. It's a standard medium base light bulb that is LED and is 800 lumens bright/60W. The set up process is simple, you have to have Google Home and Goodle Home app, also you would need to install a G by GE app or just sign up for an account in order to be able to control this light bulb. I absolutely love the feature of being able to change the color of the lightbulb. There are 6 different colors that you can change it to: Ivory, Daylight, Cool light, Warm White Incandescent and Candlelight. Also there is an option to be able to change the brightness of the bulb from ANYWHERE! I love that! Whoever came up with this idea and created this lightbulb is an absolute genius. I can set a schedule on the app for when I want it to turn on and off, can control both brightness and color from absolutely anywhere, and can control it with my voice from any room in my house. I absolutely love this bulb and thinking about purchasing more for my home, very convenient, very versatile, lasts for years, can be controlled on the go whether I'm home or not, makes me feel safe and secure. It's definitely a must have for all the tech savvy folks and beyond, this bulb is amazing! Just think about being able to set the tone for any occasion with just a swipe of the finger, and convenience of being able to schedule a light bulb for whenever is convenient for you is just an amazing feature. It makes me feel safe and I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn on my lights whenever I'm working on a late shift, now I can control it all with a help of my phone and that makes me feel great. Great product, definitely has that "WOW" factor. Try it out for yourself and enjoy it, because I sure do!

I really like this light. It can be tuned from bright white to a cool, almost yellow. It can also be dimmed down to about 10% of it's brightness. I use the smart phone app (Android or iPhone) for bluetooth connectivity and it works great. You can set pre-set shades and brightnesses so you can easily select them. I set it to the cool yellow setting and turn down the brightness for nighttime TV viewing and it is very easy on the eyes. I could not get it sync'ed up with Google Home to use with my Android phone (it's supposed to work that way) and I don't have a Google "hub" so I can't try it that way. But the phone app works great so it's not really needed. The only thing I can't do on the phone app is remote activation (so I can't turn it on when I'm not in bluetooth range) - not a big deal at all for me. My only wish would be for different colors other than white, but I see they are coming out with a multi-color bulb (if they haven't already) so I will look into getting one of them.

Hi, I am a Walmart Sparks Reviewer and I will be doing a review on the C by GE Tunable White Smart Bulb, which came with one (1) led white bulb. This is the first time I have experience such an amazing smart bulb, which can be used with or without a home device. I personally used it without the home device. The downloadable app on my cellphone was so quick and simple. Now I'm able to, control and activate the bulb to and away from home! Now that's just amazing! I simply screwed the smart bulb inside my lamp. Downloaded the app to my cell. Within a matter of seconds, the C by GE App was able to connect to the device. Then, I was able to control the brightness and change the colors to illuminate, medium and darker medium. The best thing about this smart bulb is that I can have more than one bulb installed at the same time, connect to this same app, name them differently according to each room, and have complete control. Now, I don't have to manually turn off the lights by hand, I can do it by my cellphone! Amazing! There is absolutely nothing that I dislike about the C by GE Smart Bulb. Overall, it's just highly too smart just to be a bulb, but it is and so very convenient that I am loving it!

When I received this bulb started doing my research since it wouldn't not allow me to use without the GE application, I registered then I added to my Google home and removed the GE app, it work just fine, I tell Google to turn on or turn off and it work as simple as it sounds. Now the dimmer features wouldn't work without the GE application so if you want to be able to dimmer the light and change you must have both apps. For me it's fine the way it look the brightest and simple way to have it in the tv room as I show in the picture, I am impressed and happy and I highly recommend this product.

I received this in the Wal-Mart Spark program in return for my honest review. The lightbulb fits a standard light socket and Can be controlled by your cell phone via a downloadable app. You can also use it the old fashioned way with a light switch. Puts out good light.

This is a nice bulb, but I wasn't able to get it connected to my Google Home App. I was able to connect it to the C by GE app. The C by GE app is easy to access and is very user friendly; however, it would be nice to be able to access the light with everything else I have connected to my google home account. I've tried daily to get it to connect, but I haven't been successful. I'm pretty tech savvy, so I'm not sure what the issue is. I'll keep trying. I like that I can turn the light on and off from my phone, but I can also change the color of the light (three versions of orange and one light bright blue for cool daylight). The optional colors of purple, green, and pink would be a nice touch for my kids. I'm assuming I'd need a different bulb for those particular colors. I've posted a pic of the different colors and settings from the C by GE app. I currently have the bulb in a lamp that I keep behind my couch. This makes it great for reading or for working on my computer in the evenings. Overall, great light and features. I'd given it five stars if I were able to connect to my Google Home Account.
