GE C by GE Smart BR30 Indoor Floodlight LED Light Bulb, 11-Watts, Tunable White, 1-Pack (Packaging May Vary)

I received this GE B30 SM MLT CLR C by GE Tunable White Smart Bulbs in exchange of an honest review.  I have always love smart products.  I have many smart products.  They honestly make life much easier, happier and in some cases very safe. I have q few smart indoor cameras. I also have a smart coffeemaker. I now own this GE B30 SM MLT CLR C by GE Tunable White Smart Bulbs. Which comes with 1 LED BR30 Indoor Floodlight Bulb. I believe their's other packages that come with a few more bulbs in the the package.  I just dont want you think that this is one of them . This GE tunable bulb with one in the packaged and this one bulb has 65 watts in it. This is an led bulb.  This bulb is very easy to set up. This does not required  hub. Once you had set up your bulb simply turn on the light.  After you done that you need to download the Google Home application.  After you done that you simply follow the instructions on the app. It does comes with an estimated yearly energy cost of $1.32 based on 3 hours  a day.  I really like this indoor bulb. I like how you can adjust light from warm to cool. It helps when you're just waking up and you don't need the bright light in your eyes. Or when you need the bright light to located something right away.  Another thing I love about this bulb is you get to schedule and set when you need the lights on or off automatically . I honestly love that.  Especially for my kids room. They know when the last are off the means it's time to sleep. When the light turns on it means it time to get ready for school . This bulb is also controlled with hands free voice control.  You can use your voice to adjust the brightness of the bulb or turn it off and on. This works perfectly with your Google home device.  If you don't have one, don't worry you can also use your smartphone.  This last thing is what makes me absolutely love this GE B30 SM MLT CLR C by GE Tunable White Smart Bulbs (1 LED BR30 Indoor Floodlight Bulb), 65W , if your on vacation or out for the day and forget to turn on the lights.  You can turn on or off the lights from your phone. To me this is very important.  I tend to go out alot. My family lives at least an hour away from me. I leave early to spend the whole day with them  But I don't want to waste so much energy by living the lights on the whole day. Nor do I want to drive an hour just to turn off the lights . So what better than this app that helps me save money , time and helps keep my house save. With the lights on for a while people will think someone is home. To me this a very important.  I absolutely love this led bulb.  I'm in control of the light with my voice or just by pressing a button on my cellphone.  I honestly recommend this to everyone.  Great small investment to your home. I will be ordering more of this, because yes you are aloud to have serval goggle products on your app. I need at least 3 more for my kids room and living room. No more walking in the dark for us. Ki

Received my GE B30 SM MLT CLR about a few weeks ago, and I must say this light is Awesome and Bright. My Son was always complaining about the lightning downstairs in our living room, but now with the GE B30 SM MLT CLR I don't hear a word from him. So if you're looking not only an Awesome bright light but an energy saving light you can control this is the light for any room in your home...

I could not be more pleased with this product! It is easy to use and you can programming the lights from your cellphone. You just need to download the C by GE app on your cellphone. Your turn on the lights and they will appear in the app and you can turn on or turn off, dimmer them or set up a time for them to be on or off. I really enjoy these new lights!

This light bulb can be easily adjusted with the "C by GE" app for both colors and brightness , or via the Google Home app if you already have a setup for that. The apps are easy to use. After reading about it on the "C by GE" website, I just installed the bulbs, installed our preferred app on my phone, and adjusted the bulbs "temperature". Then I created three different base settings -- one for makeup, one bright soft white for guests, and one softer bluer-white that my husband likes. So, whenever we feel a need to adjust the lighting, we can just go into the app and select one of the pre-sets. There is no need for a hub or other device to use the C by GE app. It is available at the Google Play online store. There are two ways to check your phone for compatibility; run a search and if it is not compatible, the app will not show up in search results. Or, if you go to the C by GE website, go to the "Tunable White Smart Bulb" page (not the "full color" bulbs' page). There is a link to the app on that page -- click through and the Google Play store will say if your phone is compatible, allowing you to install it, or it will say it is not compatible with that phone. As far as I know, as long as you have a newer-ish phone, you're fine. In contrast, if you already have a Google Home setup, with Google hardware in your home, you can use the voice controls to adjust the lights (just like other Google Home features).

We are not very tech savvy but setting this bulb up with our Google Home was a breeze. Instructions were very clear and once bluetooth connected, It easily identified the bulb. We decided to place it in our living room lamp that is usually hard to reach. One cool feature is you can change the light Setting by brightening or dimming the light depending on your mood. Will buy more!

The GE tunable white smart bulb has brought light into our home with our google hub. We have been able to turn a light on before we get home or in the middle of the night if we need to get up. We love the easiness the bulb has when ppaired with our google product. We can even control it with our voice if necessary.

So far I like this bulb. To set this up was so so. At first I couldn't get it to sync up with the Google Home app. I downloaded the C by GE app the bulb synced up in 2 seconds but a message popped up stating to use the Google home app. Which I clicked that and bam it synced. Don't know why I couldn't do it the first time but it did the job after going through the other app. Just in case anyone has that issue try that first. Other then that I love this bulb and I now have to change out every single bulb in my house. This is must have

I was so excited when I received my GE 30 Sm MLT Tunable Smart Bulb. I couldn't wait to get it set up and working but when I tried to download the app for it I found out my phone wasn't capitible, apparently my phone is too old. While visiting a friend downloaded the app on her phone but couldn't get it to work either. Im not sure if the app needs overhauled or what but I couldn't get it to work went thought we tried more than one phone.think it would be great if it worked.

The Tunable White Smart Bulb from GE is pretty good. It does what it states on the packaging. It can be “tuned” from a bright white color to a soft white color depending on the effect you are trying to achieve. It is a flood light bulb, so the choice of where to use it is key. I placed it above the kitchen sink. I want to use it with a bright white setting while doing dishes in place of using the other kitchen lights. So far it works well for my purpose. I simply use the switch on the wall to turn it on and off for two reasons. First, it is just more convenient to flick the switch since I am physically right next to it. Secondly, I found the smart feature of the light to be somewhat cumbersome. I had to download an exclusive app from GE. It would then be able to sync with Google products, but I do not have any. This left me with the choice of keeping an app on my phone that only works with one product or just using the switch. Others may enjoy the convenience of a smart bulb and I may have too if I chose to use it in a more remote area. Overall, I found it to be good but not great.

This is pretty much a basic led light bulb. The smart functions were harder to set up than other smart bulbs I have in my home with even more functions than this one has on it. It is really inconsistent and was not doing all the functions anymore even though it just did them five minutes before just fine. If you can even get it to work it will have several different white color functions and they go all the way from a very bright blue type of cool white to an Amber dark or dim like type of light and every shade of white in between. Right now I am using the starting color white that it turns on with unless you change it because it is too much of a pain for any other white and it would not stay the color I had chosen previously. I was using the app that it uses to set up and use instead of a google home or any other kind of smart product. I tried the app with my iPhone and also with my husband's android phone and neither one of our phones were doing well with this light bulb. It can work but does not seem to work consistently at all. We have good Wi-Fi and good phones and our other smart bulbs are working. This one is just a problem. So I do not recommend it. Maybe it would work with a smart device. I can not say I recommend this bulb at all. Might as well buy a normal led bulb.
