GE CFE28UP2MS1 36" Stainless French Door Refrigerator

It is the perfect size. Only problem I see is a little frost/ice forming around the inside of the ice maker box that holds the ice made.

This is a great refrigerator yet at time I get this loud vibration coming from it… a push on the door stops it… but something is vibrating I guess near the motor/compressor. Real nightmare to set up WIFI needed help on phone to do it. Not sure WIFI even dies on this. Learned I can show pictures but need to get a USB stick and put pictures on it as inputs by usb port hidden near water/ice dispenser. Would have been nice to do this via WIFI or Bluetooth.

I thought it would be good to share a review from someone who has had this since November 2018. We were attracted to it for all the bells and whistles and the Keurig. I'm here because I wanted to see about organized accessories and discovered that there is a drop down dairy tray for eggs! Took me six years to actually read "drop down dairy tray." And I was hoping to understand what I'm supposed to put in a 2" shelf/tray. The pros is it has been a reliable unit for us. The freezer is large, the adjustable shelves are great, especially the one that does a 1/2 fold for when you need taller items to store. Now that I know about the whole bin thing, I love that they can pull out for meal prep and then slide back in easily. I feel that the temp is consistent. I very much like controlling things with my app and setting my Keurig to be ready when I wake or open the app and get it started while I'm still in bed. The cons, for whatever reason we struggle to replace the water filter. At one point we did have it serviced and turns out it was related to how we kept forcing the filter in. I REALLY wish we could use a refillable Keurig cup. We use the brewing system daily. Another issue, and I'm not sure why it is, but the ice maker can't seem to keep up with our needs. On a daily basis it's fine, but if we have a full house in the summer, we always buy an extra bag of ice. I don't recall having that issue with our past refrigerator.

Refrigerator has doors that do not open the entire way. Difficult to get the bottom drawers out for cleaning. Our hot water dispenser was serviced more than 4 times. Ice box leaked and frost accumulated. We were told that was normal. Finally got a new refrigerator but would have preferred another model. The inside is very nice with great lighting.

This is the second refrigerator.  I have missed 5 complete days from work just to stay home for service calls!  It still does not work.  It looks great, but it is poor quality.  I have given up hope with this model, and soon with this company.  I bought all cafe products when my kitchen was remodeled this year, dishwasher, cooktop, double oven, microwave and this refrigerator.  I would not wish this product on anyone, especially a friend. It is a nightmare.

1 week after the 1 yr warranty ran out the fridge died. We fixed it but was warned if the fix didn't hold, it was the compressor. Now 6 months later the fridge has stopped again. The cost to repair a 2 year fridge… supposed top of the line fridge isn't worth it. Did I mention I now need to have my cafe line gas stove fixed after 2 years as well! Absolutely unreliable!

We are on 3rd refrigerator since September. First ice maker didn't work, second arrived dented interior and exterior, our third water Just stopped working. Expensive refrigerator that doesn't work

These are not the old GE durable reliable products. The cafe series all garbage said my appliance repairman. The refrigerator interior: Drawers a super small, the interiors door bins are so narrow on the left side only small condiments will fit...the big pain is every time you close the right door the butter fly's out of the butter storage bin. We have to put tall bottles of water on the bin below the butter keeper to stop it's door from opening. I've had several GE refrig. in the past 30 years and I daily regret buying this new one.

Was working well for 2 weeks. This stopped making ice and stopped cooling at all. Very disappointing for such an expensive product. There's no excuse! Now we wait for someone to try to fix it for 5 days while we have to deal w the perishable and frozen food. Not very happy.

Our refrigerator stopped working. Set up a service appointment. Had to wait 4 days, a part had to be ordered. Took another week for the part to come in. Service person replaced the part and left without even making sure it was working. Had to schedule another service appointment to confirm the compressor is shot. Still dont have a working refrigerator.
