GE Cync Color Changing Indoor LED Light Strip with Matter, 16ft (1-Pack)

My kitchen was so dark at night and also rather blah being a difficult space to create evening ambiant light. This is a rental so I didn't want to add puck lights or under cabinet lighting and have tons of stick / tape to remove. I also didnt want to have to recharge and/or change batteries all the time. I love that this plugs into an outlet. Couldn't be more pleased. Met my expectations 100% and was exactly what was needed.

These were perfect for the top of my furniture to highlight decorations and provide different levels and colors of lighting. Connected very easily to my Cync app and are managed seamlessly with my Google Home.

I find this product quite appealing due to its user-friendly nature and straightforward installation. It is remarkably simple to operate. However, I have noticed that its brightness is somewhat subdued. The initial unit I received was not fully functional, but it was promptly replaced at no cost. The new unit operates flawlessly and offers connectivity with Alexa. I understand it is supposed to have a voice command feature, though I have not yet had the opportunity to test it.

No diffuser for the leds, the spacing is pretty far and brightness is meh. the color quality is quite poor with a green hue, you can get a good color but it requires a lot of fine tuning. But its a great value for the money, matter support is a huge plus (you arent locked to GE's app, a feature many premium lighting brands dont offer), and the length is considerable for the price. Recommend for entry level smart home or quick and cheap lighting

These lights cannot change color unless you have the app. That would be okay if they app worked right. It doesn't work. I finally gave up and uninstalled the app. They are still usable. I just have to press the button, but I really wanted to be able to change the colors of the light for every holiday.

Automating and using any of the smart home features of this product is awful. The app, Cync, is slow to load and clunky. Matter enabled/Apple Home integration is ineffective at best. These lights, along with several GE cync smart plugs and lights, completely disconnect every couple of days and have to be reset like they've never been used. Smart home devices aren't helpful if I have to reconnect and automate them every couple of days. 0/10- would not recommend

This item seems disposable; the band is made of cardboard or paper and doesn't appear to be as sturdy as a similar item I previously bought from the same brand.

Walmart sent me used product. All the tape was ripped off. It was just repacked and sent to me. I hope they check the customer return product and send it again.
