Easy Set Up, Amazing Convenience
I screwed the bulb into a lamp in my room and was able to connect it to my Google Home Mini in seconds and it works perfectly. I love the convenience of saying "Hey Google, turn on my lights," and seeing my lamp turn on. My roommates and I are planning on buying enough bulbs for the whole house!

I got these in the mail fast! I purchased 9 of them and they all work fine but one of them just will not update to save my life!!!

You'll need to buy a smart plug to use with Alexa
If you plan to connect this bulb to your Alexa you need the CYNC or C by GE smart plug. I'm not willing to buy the plug when there are lightbulbs that don't require an additional purchase to work with Alexa.

No voice control
I got this for my grandson's birthday. I was disappointed that this bulb did not work with Alexa voice.. I called tech support and they told me that I need to get a smart plug or order the smart bulb direct. They said this bulb would not work with voice without a hub.. So he has to work it with his phone. Would not do voice through Google either.

Dead after 10 months
Bought in June of 2020 and will not stay paired. When I reached out to GE about the issue they said since the light will still turn on and off it's not eligible for warranty. Absolutely do not waste the money on this

Didn't work with Google Home so whats the point.
Couldn't get it to play friendly with Google Home. Had to download a completely separate GE app. That means NO VOICE COMMAND so I have to get my phone out to turn on the light. Oddly, C by GE light bulb worked fine.
