If I forget to turn the heat down before I leave home, I can turn it down from work. I can then turn the heat back up on my way home. It's amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this thermostat so I could adjust the temperature from my phone. It was easy to instal and quick to set up on the app. I like that it can be calibrated and it actually fit in the same screw holes as my Honeywell thermostat. It's easy enough to program and you can copy a day and paste it to another day. I love the black front plate and it looks techy. You can also add on additional room sensors which will be next!

Very easy to install in, directions are straightforward, the price was very reasonable and I like that it does work with Amazon Alexa.

After 2 weeks of AC use: The Good: - Up to 10 settings per day - Easy setup and interface - Can control thermostat from anywhere (CYNC Thermostat requires internet) - CYNC Application keeps a view the runtime statistics / history The Bad (annoying): - Temperature sensitivity is that great (doesn't come and go off soon enough) - When opening the CYNC application, it complains about not having BT enable when not needed The Wish List: - Better temperature sensitivity (should be adjustable: eg: +/- 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 F) - Snow flake should blink when wait timer is counting down - Date/Time should be on the display - Would be nice to have humidity on the display as well. - Would love to have a setting every hour (up to 24 settings per day) Overall: I would buy the CYNC Smart Thermostat again

Although I have read through the reviews and haven't seen a bad one. I guess there's a first time for everything. My GE Cync thermostat was working fine until one day it wasn't. It still works, but what is the point of having a smart thermostat if it will not connect to the app it would at first and then it quit and I cannot get it to reconnect for anything not happy.

I love the convenience of being able to set this thermostat via my smart phone. It holds the temperature very well and the cool mode works perfectly. The reason I gave it only 2 stars is because when using it with electric furnaces, it doesn't have any delay to preheat the elements before turning on the fan. That means I get about a minute of cold air blowing on me every time it cycles in the heat mode. Even my old, cheap, digital thermostat had this feature.

I was sent a used item that I paid almost full price for. The box had packing tape that was also breached while the original circle seal was missing from manufacturer. The device face was scratched, greasy and dirty. Photos below. although I would have loved to set this item up and get to using it, im not putting a used thermostat in my house. there's no telling ehat could go wrong if something is fried in there from a previous customer. last photo shows what a GE Cync real manufactured seal looks like on the cameras I purchased from another seller
