GE Fingerprint Resistant Top Control with Stainless Steel Interior Dishwasher with Sanitize Cycle GDT650SMVES

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just used for the first time, love the feature that I can choose to clean 1hr or dry adds another hour. Very quiet, and cleans very good. Huge inside and interior silver, does have sanitization. I made a great choice.

This dishwasher works great! Dishes always come out clean and mostly dry. Some plastic items are wet, but I expected that. There are several wash cycles available for all cleaning needs. The cycles are LONG so I just run it overnight or when I'm not home.

Great dishwasher for the price. Has the 3rd top rack which can be used for utensils and flat stuff. This unit does not have the insulation blanket but is super quiet. Getting used to the controls being at the top. Washes well and nice looking. Racks accommodate all size dishes, glasses and includes the bottle washers.

The silverware holder, when properly seated over the dish rack, hits the side of the washer when closing it. It is not a problem if you do not seat it over the rack. We just used our silverware holder from our last dishwasher and don't have the problem. It also doesn't come with the sound dampener. We used our old one.

I have only used my dishwasher twice since I had it installed. So far it’s ok. I have a hard time putting in the dishwasher soap pod. The opening is small and I’m not a fan of the closing mechanism.

Mostly satisfied with this dishwasher. It does all one would expect in terms of getting dishes clean. The biggest drawback is the lack of suitable space to place stemware. Obviously this was something we didn’t think about when purchasing this unit. But honestly, why would the engineers go through the trouble of bottle washing jets and not create appropriate areas to set stemware?? It would be nice if GE offered an accessory for stemware for this unit. So far, I have not found any.

Overall the dishwasher works well. I do feel that the run times are a fair amount longer than my last dishwasher and i have an issue with the bottom tray. It doesn't roll smoothly in and out - I have to push in the utensil holder in because the hook of the holder gets caught on the frame stopping the tray from rolling in smoothly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Capacity is fine. Controls work for now, they broke on my last ge dishwasher. Cycles clean the dishes but some of them are extremely long. If you have half a brain you can install it yourself. Noise is fine, sounds like any other dishwasher.

Ran dishwasher a few times - there is still so much water/moisture. I thought I had the wrong settings so last night, ran it under "Normal" cycle, "High" dry boost, "Boost" Wash Temp, "Lower and Upper" zones. Still the same results. Ended up having to wipe it all down - and air with a fan this morning. Dishwasher is meant to be a household helper but this isn't. So disapppointed.

This dishwasher replaced a 15 year old bosch. We are constantly have to re-wash our dishes after a cycle with the new dishwasher, something we never had to do with our old unit. Also - the top rack on dishwasher is not easily adjustable, and doesn't feel sturdy. I would not recommend this unit to anyone.
