[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with this dishwasher. We have an open-concept living/kitchen area, so a quiet machine is key, and this one is quiet. It has a large capacity, though we do rinse before loading, and I like the silverware divider. The normal cycle takes about 2 hours and 10 minutes, and the dishes come out pretty dry (only wet where you'd expect them to be).
So far the new GE dishwasher is working very well. Although we're getting used to the options, they're very easy to figure out for what we need to accomplish to get the dishes clean. There's plenty of room for everything that we have for two people. Very good for the price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new dishwasher. Washes and dries well and the capacity is perfect. The only thing I don't like is where the silverware basket is. Would be so much more convenient if it was in front of the shelf instead of on the side.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE the dishwasher! The installation was seamless (actually professionals did the installation). I like the options that you can select for washing/drying the dishes. The musical tones that were implemented for its functions appeal to my inner child! :-) There's little noise when it's working and I'm really happy with the product. Great job, General Electric!
I am very pleased with the dishwasher. Especially how quiet it is. I use the hour cycle and and very happy with the cleaning process. The only suggestion I have is the rinse dispenser is hard to see how full it is. You should put something on there that shows when it is full and how it is dropping. Thank you.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On a kitchen remodel we chose this because we liked the finish. Its a good dishwasher with good capacity and we liked the fact that it's quiet and has plenty of features, was a good price, and there are options like top and front controls. The only thing that kinda is a con is the installation instructions. I suggest hooking up electric and supply and drain before mounting it in. Easier that way.
The gentleman that put in my dishwasher were extremely thorough and made sure that it was set up, absolute perfect and balanced, and they worked on it for a while and got it all done. Then they ran it through a cycle and everything looks wonderful. I don't have any dirty dishes yet to put in it, but I think I am going to love it. I love the size of it in the inside. It's very big extremely roomy. My last dishwasher was also a GE that I had for over 20 years and I was very very happy with it.
Overall decent machine. Capacity for me is a lot, there is only the two of us, so it takes a few days to get a load. First couple washes I experimented with the various settings and took a while for Dry Boost setting, Like 2 hours? If I want quicker wash, I use the 1-hour wash setting and no dry setting. Leave the door closed to keep the heat in. About an hour later most was dry except tops of coffee mugs and tall glasses had small amount of water, even after I placed them in on an angle. Next wash I'll try the Auto setting? Also have not tried the Sanitization cycle. Noise is overall quite low, interior is plastic, seems fine.
Had less than a year, calling for service. At least 3 times now it has “started” the wash cycle and countdown without actually running. The detergent dispenser opens and that's it. After 1.2 hours it sings that it is clean, but alas, everything is in the exact same state as when I started the cycle.
Let's see whoever tested it didn't pump it out so all the paperwork was wet and when I went to install this 50 dollar dishwasher that sells for 900 it poured water all over the floor. In the future either put real insulation on product or don't. Don't insult us by putting the 1/8 thick window dressing and expect it to pass.
