Fantastic washer! Amazing size and barrel capacity!! I can wash my king size comforter with ease! It gets fully rinsed out and is almost dry when I go to put it in the dryer, making it very easy to dry!! The panel on it is very easy to use. It's also super quiet! I often run a load at night and my bedroom is right next to the laundry room!!!

I am thrilled with this washer. I just put my dog blankets through the sanitize cycle and they ACTUALLY do not smell like dog! I did my son's sheets and he noted that all the sweat stains are gone. (Can't wait to do all the stinky towels and the gardening apparel.) I do believe a front loader does a better job of cleaning... and I understand the required maintenance routine. I read through the manual to understand how to keep the machine clean and dry. In my 7th decade of life and still doing a LOT of laundry... I deserve this awesome washing machine!

I am falling in love with washer! It is smart, quite, and it has so much loading space compared to my old washer. I love the ventilation and odor system to prevent mold build up. It is smart and I have so many options to select like if it want to steam clean my clothes. I made the perfect choice for me and my family.

I really like the capacity size for doing large bulky bedspreads and comforters. The ventilation cycle when you are finished with washing is great that it drys out the washer to prevent odor from building up inside the machine. I also like the add water option where you can have the washer add an extra, approximately 3 gallons, of water to the larger loads to give it more water while washing. Very happy with the features and how this machine works. There is a little noise when the machine spins but nothing more than any other washer that I’ve had.

Update: after playing with the controls a bit the washer is working well. ClothesI just purchased and used this washer yesterday and I absolutely hate it. The 5.0 capacity which I bought intentionally for my large family is worthless because our clothes are still soaking wet after the wash. I have to take out half to spin them to get they dry enough for the dryer. It's being returned this week. usually spin to dry but large loads can be a challenge. I'm happy with it. The smart feature works great as it alerts me when the cycle completed and when I forget to remove the clothes.

Washer seams to work really well concerning cleanliness. However, when washing one garment the washer will not spin out. Washer will drain but clothes are dripping wet and I mean dripping wet. Washer sounds if it is spinning but it does not. I wear dress clothes which means some of my clothes need to be washed alone. So this is not good for me.

After two years of light use of this GE washing machine, the LOCKING MECHANISM has failed. It started with suddenly locking up and not releasing at the end of a cycle. We had to cut the power to get the electrical system to reset before it would release. After that happened, the next couple of loads we washed, the door unlocked but then eventually it quit locking altogether. Now I can't use a perfectly good washing machine because of a pointless locking mechanism. Getting assistance to repair will take me several days to weeks and it is summertime and vacation is in three days. My sister had the identical washer. She has teenagers & they broke it within 2 months of purchasing it. This is a bad system & I should not have to wait or spend money to fix it.

Our first GE front load washer had catastrophic failure. It was not even three years old. The controller board died and was more expensive to replace than buying a new one. We have replaced with the same model and purchased a 5-year extended warranty for repairs. I do not expect this washer to last any longer, but we are covered by the extended warranty. Note that the matching dryer works fine. At this point we will have a washer/dryer combo for at least 5 years. After that I will be buying a different brand.

This has been the absolute worst washing machine I have ever owned. I have owned 2 of them and had nothing but issues. I have had to replace the main computer twice and will be going on a third one as it randomly stopped working again. All washers were under 2 years of use

Experiencing some sort of power cycling issue in less than 3 years (less than 21 months). Happens every 41 seconds. Powers off and back on. Common issue when researching online. I am extremely disappointed in GE reliability. They should be recalling this!
