GE GZS22DGJWW 21.9 Cu. Ft. Freestanding Side-by-Side Refrigerator

Freezer side door slow drip actually coming through the door stainless steel just below the water and ice dispenser. Slow drip from the dispenser probably just from the ice maker flap but really we have two pin holes in the door exterior. Going to see if they have suspect freshwater line or fitting leaking inside the door. Doubt GE will do anything but we'll see. Think the build is 2016. Just thinking about my parents Kenmore 25-30 yrs old sold with their house still functioning great no rust still made ice. Now 6 to 8 years and we get issues or total failure.

It's horrible and GE service is even worse. 4 time the ice maker has been replaced and the last time sounded as if it was blowing up the next morning and actually shocked my husband as we were attempting to shut off the ice maker. Don't feel safe with it any longer.

My new refrigerator works to be as expected. It came installed in my new Jayco camper.

This was the only refrigerator the builder would give me. I did not want a side-by-side because they don't hold much, the freezer side is so narrow, it does not accommodate larger boxes like a frozen pizza box, the shelf options in the refrigerator section are very limited because there is a huge expanse on the top shelf, and the bottom shelf, when I need more shelves for smaller items. I end up having to stack items on top of other products. Finally, the lower refrigerator door panel pockets are narrow in depth, and whatever is in there is hidden by the upper pockets.

It is so small that I have to rearrange my food every time I want to get something out or put in. . They say it is 21.9 cu ft but guess what. My previous fridge that fit in the same space was 2 times larger inside than this one. GE must be including all the space that supposedly makes it cheaper to operate. My nearest grocery store is 34 miles away and this fridge does not lend itself for shopping every 2 weeks. Plus after 2 years the inside freezer light burned out and I have to remove the ice maker to replace it. BEWARE. I would like to toss this one out the window. Worthless and it was expensive. It’s what GE does not tell you.

Not sealing properly. The refrigerator-side door gasket is not closing correctly and is not creating a proper seal. This is affecting normal operation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The door shelf bins on my GE refrigerator are of very poor quality. They are extremely brittle and cracked/fell off on the very first day of use. I expected more durability from a brand like GE—this was really disappointing. Expected a better design or quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The appearance and function of the refrigerator and freezer are good. Water (through the door) appears to be working as is the ice maker. The lighting in both compartments is poor when loaded with food, Each compartment has one light in the ceiling to light the entire space. The lower racks / trays are almost dark. The control panel on the unit is NOT like the information sheet that explains how it operates. The downloadable manual is vague in places. Statements followed by 'your unit may not have this feature' are prevalent throughout the manual. The manual states there is lighting on the ceiling and the sides of each compartment. Ours does not have the side lighting.

This is an OK refrigerator. The freezer side is greatly reduced by the water & ice makers. Only a small pizza box will fit. On the refrigerator side, the door bins cant hold a lot or they will fall off, taking tneir contents with them. I do appreciate that it runs fairly quiet. Glass shelves are easy to clean. Watch out what you put against the back wall. It froze my green onions. All in all its an ok appliance.
