GE GZS22IMNES 21.8 Cu. Ft. Freestanding Side-by-Side Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a housewarming gift and I love the number of shelves on the refrigerator side; however the freezer side is a bit small. The shelves on the door were a little difficult to pop in but I made it work after breaking one. I love the water and ice dispenser although I would take more space over the dispenser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is the perfect size for my kitchen and my use. The water and ice in the door are a new feature for me. My last refrigerator was over 25 years old and did not have this. It is nice to always have ice ready and not have to fill ice cube trays that usually would spill as I put them in the freezer. Being a side-by-side unit, it is easier to see just what I have in the freezer without having to move items around or forget what is in there in the back or under other items. I can control the temperature of either side without having to even open the doors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Side by side refrigerator/freezer I like all the features especially all the lighting. You can see all the contents on both sides, front and back. Installed easy, ice maker holds plenty of ice and makes ice quickly. Shelving removes easily for cleaning. Bins have plenty of room. Fingerprint-less stainless steel is nice and stays pretty clean. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and installation.

We decided on this refrigerator mainly because it is counter-depth which we absolutely love!!! We became tired of bending down and looking deep into our old refrigerator for food that we could not locate LOL. We also love that there is plenty of lighting inside including on the freezer side. The dispenser is working well as this is our first refrigerator with a dispenser. The stainless steel finish is so sharp looking in our newly-remodeled kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the new refrigerator. The shelves move easily, and the produce drawer works great. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the motor is not as quiet as our last one. I do like the fridge and feel it is a good value for the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I'd seen this in person before buying. I don't particularly like the curved front. The style doesn't look good in my kitchen and seems to reduce storage capacity. Although the dimensions are supposedly the same as my last refrigerator, I seem to have less useable space. Not really impressed so far, but it's working fine.

Not giving 5 stars because I just got it. But first impressions are good. Inside is very bright. If you are coming from a larger fridge then the space inside will feel tighter obviously. I was able to fit everything that was in my normal size Samsung french door into the GE, and the GE isn't a huge, ugly, hulking appliance the samgsung was. And it makes ICE. Not the bad racist ICE currently terrorizing people here, actually ice in the door. You hear that Samsung?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Water filter issues not explained in manual, the light comes up red when I dispense water and then goes away when I am not, shouldn't it be green? Why not explain...

My husband and I were completing a home renovation and decided to leave the plastic on the fridge for a layer of protection. The fridge was kept in a climate controlled environment. When the home project was finished, I decided to gently peel the plastic off of the fridge to complete the installation. THE FINISH DISAPPEARED OFF THE FRIDGE IN JUST A COUPLE GENTLE PULLS. Take this as a warning. It does not say to pull off plastic ASAP, but now that I'm left with a brand new DAMAGED fridge, I wish someone would have told me. There is nothing they will do to repair this manufacturers issue. I am VERY dissatisfied. I bought this in a bundled that included a microwave, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator. The finish is fine on all products besides my refrigerator. Take this from someone whose kitchen is complete and now has to live with this eyesore called my refrigerator. DONT DO IT!! (Or if you do, pull plastic off immediately!!!!)

Moved into a new home where this fridge was left for us. Appears they force you to buy their overpriced brand filters. My family never has and will continue to never buy any GE products. I will either sell or junkyard this piece of trash before I buy a filter under force.
