Washes well but……8 out of 10 loads are uneven at the end, then it shuts off with in minutes so you start a drain and spin, where it adds like 20 gallons of water to “balance” it. It very HE, and it's hard to deal with when you haul water, average an extra 20 gallons of water per load. Will probably go back to whirlpool after this one.
I really like everything about this product except it's too high. I have to stand on tip toes to get all of my clothes out. I love the color and the Bluetooth capabilities so it lets me know how long I have and when it is complete.
I read many of the reviews on this dishwasher that I purchased back in 2022 and just like many of them at first it ran great, but after several months, it began making lots of knocking noises and doing a lot of balancing I thought maybe it was moved and that's why it was doing that, but it is also not draining all the water out so I almost have to do a quick wash or another spin to get the water out I am disappointed in the washer now that I know that it's not something I did wrong. I also did register the product when I received it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My household has been using this washer for about five years now, and as a whole, we have not been happy with it. Pros: 1) It has a laundry liquid dispense system (that I don't use, however). 2) It is a larger capacity which is nice for bulky items. 3) It appears to have lots of wash cycles and features. Cons: 1) It becomes easily unbalanced, so I often have to rearrange my items to balance it. Therefore, it cannot be left alone especially when doing laundry like towels or bedding. 2) The soak option is just that—soak. It does not agitate at all every few minutes like a previous washer I had did. This means I have to reach in with a long cooking spoon to agitate items that need soaking. The soak option also does not go for longer than two hours. If you use natural cleaning products (without petroleum) such as oxygen bleach, you will find this is only the minimum time oxygen bleach needs to whiten/remove stains. It also does not allow you to pop the lid open for more than 10 minutes without turning off, so if I need to soak items, it's better for me to just use my bathtub, defeating the entire point of having a washer. 3) If you fill it more than 50% of the way full, expect it to not use enough water to cover your items and also expect it to get unbalanced. 4) You cannot add extra water to the “normal” cycle. 5) It's “balancing” option is just filling itself up with water again (such a waste!) with the hope that it becomes *magically* balanced again which only works about 30% of the time. 6) It pauses as soon as you open the lid, stopping the water. That means that I cannot use the water to rinse out my soap container to use the last drops of it. I have to go to my kitchen sink, wait for the water to get hot, and go back and forth from the kitchen to the laundry room to ensure it is rinsed out and ready to be recycled. Verdict: As soon as it breaks, I'm taking a baseball bat to it and getting a traditional washer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is the worst washing machine I've ever used. No matter the load capacity, arrangement of said load it will battle itself to find balance every 4th load .. it's maddening. The agitator I feel is the issue.... Truly no point in the large capacity cause I have yet to find a rhyme or reason to why it looses balance so often. I feel this issue has cut the life span at least in half.... I'm sure GE knew..... Do better
This has been the worst washer we have ever owned. We are builders and have been a fan of GE, but this experience has changed that. We don't push GE anymore to our clients. It can't handle large loads, makes lots of noises, and we have had people come out multiple times to repair. The dryer isn't any better. Please avoid.
This model is JUNK! Not even 1 star worthy. Will wash a load for hours because it can't balance. Control panel lasts barely a year or two. Now panel is blinking and I can't select any changes to the preset loads. Capacity can't even handle a small comforter. Agitates but doesn't get the whole blanket wet. Inside rim is already rusting. Not even 4 years old. Water temperature is way off. I select warm and it puts out hot one time and cold the next time.
I loved this washer for the first two years and than it keeps freezing on the sensing setting and will quit washes and make it challenging to wash clothes for a large family.
Do not buy. Most inefficient washer we have ever owned. Anything more than a couple pieces of clothing, it can't balance and uses like 30 gallons of water at a time to try to balance it. Not uncommon to go through 60+ gallons of water a load
Always out of balance!! Takes me days to finish laundry. I have to pull sopping wet clothes out or readjust the clothes all the time just to get it to spin. We bought the extra capacity drum and you can't fill it because it won't spin.
