[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my washer!! It can hold so much!!! I love all the controls it has!!! I have a 6 person house hold so i have a lot of laundry I can get 3 basket fulls in one cycle!! I love that my washer is quiet!!! It is the best washer I ever owned!!!
I'll give this a 2 star just because it hasn't broken yet but what a piece of junk. It's way to tal for the average person to reach the bottom. The big issue is you can't wash more than 5 towels without it not balancing for the spin dry. You have to take towels out or try again which makes the capacity useless.
It was great until it wasn't.. I've had my machine for 5 years and loved it! Until while washing a load of towels it decided to stop working… Screen is off and machine will not power on… and off course its beyond its warranty period! Why would a washing machine decide to die after 5 years?? I also have an older model GE dryer that has never given me an issue.. So I'm really surprised at my newer model washing machine dying.
Washer is only 5 years old. Had no issues and felt it did a good job as a basic washer. The mother board electrical system just went out and will cost more to repair than buying a new one. Really disappointing given it is only 5 years old.
There's a reason they stopped manufacturing this piece of garbage. No matter what size load you do it never can balance even if you try and place clothes in properly. The drums not attached so it just smashes around in there to cause it to go out of balance than fills up with more water to try and balance causing clothes to become more saturated. It's just terrible waste of money.
Probability the worst quality appliance I've ever purchased. The machine quite literally leaves your clothes covered in soap when on any mode other than Towel or Comforter. Don't even bother looking at the capacity, if you fill it past half way, or include more than one towel, it loses its capacity to remotely dry your clothes. It's also terrible to clean and overall seems designed by someone who's never used a washing machine before
I've had this wager for a little over 4 years and it randomly gave out on me I've replacedultiple parts and still doing the same issue where it shuts off on its own and I push to start a load and it shows on the screen that it's working but no water starts pouring and does not spin just shuts offs or the screen stays on saying it's filling for a couple of minutes and then just says done even though nothing happened ???
We recently bought a home around 9 months ago that had this washer and matching dryer in it. They'd bought these less than 3 years prior. We were told by the previous owners that the washing machine was finicky. They'd bought these were not kidding- it constantly leaks water when washing and doesn't spin out anything with sheets or towels in it- it will simply just shut off. Nothing makes it work, if you even have one blanket in there it will stop mid cycle. I've read numerous reviews on this through various webpages, a lot of users experience similar issues. Buyers beware.
This has been garbage since day one. Clothes dont get clean, balancing issues with every load whether it be just a blanket, full load, or partial load. High efficiency my as*! With the constant balancing issue you go through 3-4 loads worth of water before it finally spins out. Don't buy!
I have this washer and as soon as the warranty ends my GE washer goes poof. Its such a simple machine but it seems the board or motor is gone. It costs more to fix than to replace. Third one broken in the family. I wish they would make an exception and help me fix this. Every appliance in my house is GE.
