I have not had it long, but so far it seems to be great for what I needed. It has a timmer for 8, 4, and 2 hours. I would have loved it if it would have had a 12 hour timmer, so that I could set it to turn on at dark and go off at dawn.

I would recommend this bulb
I was tired of dealing with the different plugs used for timers. This light bulb is so easy to use. Just choose the length of time needed and it works like a charm. Only had mine 4 weeks, but I have already ordered a second one.

OMG these are so cool! Love how soft white they are! Great invention. Bought some for my Mom too since it's hard for her to walk around at night

So integrating the timing mechanism into the base was excellent. The only option I would have preferred a 6 Hrs option

Bulb has timer (2,4,8 hrs) which purchaser sets b5 screwing in lamp. Once bulb is in lamp, plug lamp into outlet. No more plugging lamp into timer, setting timer and plugging timer into outlet. EZY PZY.
