These are better than I thought. Very, very loud, which is great! The only issue and why I took one star away is when the sun hits them and their sticky area is on a metal painted window frame, especially if it's uneven metal, they like to fall off. I would, however totally buy these again and would simply find a way to adhere them better to the window and window frame. I found that they work excellent with the amount of space they allowed to vary and gap from the window frame to the actual window in the device and the magnetic strip that it lines up with. It makes it easier to install on windows with uneven surfaces. I strongly recommend wearing earplugs when installing these and testing them.

The only issue was the adhesive on one side was very hard to separate. They worked great in doors and windows.

2nd time purchasing those as I originally bought a smaller pack to try them out. I've had them for years, very nice and loud.

need flush door and jam
Only works if you have absolutely flush door or window edge and jam. There isn't a door or window in my house that is made like that - with both edges flat to create a flush situation. Returned them.
