[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 5cft Profile washer in Oct ‘25 and I love it. I especially like the Deep Rinse and Deep Fill options. The Deep Rinse makes sure that the clothes are properly rinsed when I use softener. The machine is quite a bit noisier than my old unit, but I understand that is typical of all the new HE machines. Another thing I love is the improved control panel. I much prefer a touch control, which this has, and I love the new options like the Power and Care controls. I can customise every wash to exactly what I want.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do very much love my washer. It is so much larger than any I have had before and I really appreciate that I can wash my bedspreads, large blankets, and get a whole load done in one wash. It no longer takes me hours to wash, then dry while washing another load, and another all day until all washing is done. One load of darks, one load of whites. Done! I love the window in the lid. I can see where the load is unbalanced when the barrel starts knocking against the sides. I like the easy adjustment for each load when considering the temp, how many spins, etc... And the sweet little sound that indicates it is starting and ending is pleasant.
Only done 4 loads, but seems to be a very good machine . Deep tub for quilts, smart technology not a fan. It's great for young people!!!! So far all is good. Pull out dispenser, I can see a problem with that over time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our previous GE Profile washer lasted since 2009. We do at least one load a day. This new washer is such a nice replacement. It's quite and large, does a great job getting our running clothes clean and is updated with modern convenience technology. Settings and the dispenser makes it a breeze to use. Cycles can be short or long. Highly recommended!
DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER. IT DOES NOT WASH YOUR CLOTHES PROPERLY. IT ALSO JUMPS AROUND LIKE IT HAS A CEMENT BLOCK IN IT WITH SMALL LOADS. HAVE DOGS? FORGET IT, YOU WILL NEVER GET THE HAIR OFF THESE CLOTHES AFTER YOU WASH THEM. SPOKE TO GE CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND THEY SAID THEY CANT DO ANYTHING BC THEY DONT WORK THE WAY I WANT THEM TO WORK! I WANT THEM TO WASH AND DRY MY CLOTHES, YA KNOW LIKE A WASHER AND DRYER ARE SUPPOSED TO DO. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT OR YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH GARBAGE LIKE I AM
Worst washing machine I've ever purchased. The lid starting cracking after the first year to the point the washing machine lid can no longer close. I've owned 5+ washing machines in my lifetime and this has been the worst machine I've every purchased. Very cheaply made product.
First, I have only had this washing machine for 1 year and 3 months. First the rusting and the spots that accumulate when you use fabric softener or bleach is ugly. Then, the top glass started to remove itself from the plastic part of the top. Now, it just refuses to turn on. To say I am disappointed in such an expensive product is an understatement.
Washer and Dryer are horrible! Washer is extremely loud and constantly unbalanced. Clothes come out soaking wet regardless of spin setting. Water rests in the dispenser tray. Dryer does a horrible job. Between the 2, it can take up to 3 hours to wash an dry a small load of towels. Regret this purchase.
I have owned this washer for 6 months and had service technician here 3 times; for going off balance and moving several feet from the wall. I restarted and moved clothes around 3 times before it could complete the cycle. The last technician explained this is a characteristic of this washer and there's nothing to repair. Every technician says the same thing. This is a quality control problem GE must address. There should be a recall on this washer. GE is responsible for addressing this problem instead of ignoring it. I will never purchase GE product again.
This is the worst machine ever! Must use the "deep fill" every time as the "regular fill" doesn't even get all the clothes wet. And NOW even when I select "deep fill", it only deep fills during the wash cycle, but not the rinse cycle, so it tears up my clothes. I now have to "trick" the machine with 2 wash cycles...one of which has no soap added so it can be the rinse cycle. After 2 years, I can't wait till it breaks so I can get something else! Matching dryer sucks too, and takes FOREVER to get a load dry. These are the dumbest "smart" machines!
