We've moved a few times and the dryer we typically purchase wasn't available. I liked how sturdy this dryer felt. It had the options of what we typically use easily at our fingertips. The color blue was a fun bonus. We've had it for a few months and it's done what we need it to do. It fits large loads, it not crazy loud, and it doesn't take as long as our previous dryer.

Hands down the best dryer I have ever owned. It keeps up with the washer and I love the notifications that my laundry is 5 min out from being done, finished and if it has sat in the dryer for a time it gives you a nice reminder. It fits my king size bedding nicely

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Absolutely LOVE my G.E. Profile electric washer/ Dryer pair and have owned G.E. Washer/ Dryer pairs since 2004 and my 1st pair , the touchscreen smart pair, are incredible , with Zero problems, to date.

Our house is on the water so when I saw the navy blue washer and dryer I just had to have them. Haven't figured out all the modern technology features but they do a great job washing and drying the clothes so I'm happy and they look great in my home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my GE Profile Dryer. The controls are easy to use. Has a large drum that will dry bulky blankets. It is very quiet. Jeans and sweatshirts dry fast. I have used the steam sensor for my sweatshirts, which removes wrinkles fast.

The dryer works very well, and has great capacity. I also appreciate the different options for drying my clothes. Two things I'm not happy about are the end of cycle signal and my clothes are wrinkled when they come out. I've set the end of cycle signal to maximum level, but unless I'm in close proximity to laundry room, I can't hear the signal. I don't know if that may be the reason for the wrinkled clothes.

This dryer works fast. Our last dryer was really old, so anything is an improvement, but I think this one is pretty good. Three issues: hose inside dryer wasn't connected for steam and leaked the first time we used it, but someone was sent to fix, the door has to be pushed very firmly to close and it sometimes moves the dryer, and the at the highest setting you can barely hear the timer go off. You basically have to set another timer to make sure you get to your clothes when they're done. Also, the dryer still runs when you open the door sometime, which seems weird. And it's really hard to pull the lint drawer out to clean, I worry it's going t break or wear down with time.

​I really wanted to love this GE Profile dryer, but I cannot recommend it based on its poor reliability. I purchased the unit in November 2024, and it worked well for a little over a year. However, in early January 2026, the user board failed entirely, rendering the unit useless. ​Having a major electronic component malfunction just weeks after the manufacturer's warranty expires is unacceptable for a machine in the Profile series, which is marketed as a higher-end line. GE used to be synonymous with durability, but this experience has me questioning the quality and longevity of their current electronics. It's frustrating to face a major repair so early in the product's lifespan.

I've had good luck with GE products thru my life, but, this is the worst appliance/ dryer that I've ever purchased. Most of the time clothes have to be put thru 2-3 drying cycles to get dry, no matter what items are in it. It was a complete waste of money. It has great options as far as the things it can do, but the most important of them all, drying, it doesn't do. I bought the matching washing machine and it broke the very first day and had to be replaced.

This dryer is the worst dryer I have ever had. The lint screen is flimsy & cheep. It has a loud squeaking noice that makes you take notice when it starts. It has done this this from day one. The repair request has been put in.....but they are busy & I'm waiting for my appointment in three weeks.
